Can someone please shed some info. about this couplet

Muddai Laakh Bura Chahe To Kya Hota Hai

Wohi Hota Hai Jo Manzoor-e-Khuda Hota Hai

I read some where that it was rendered by: G. M. Durrani

I have recorded this couplet from the DVD / Mother India and
given to Mr. Srinivas Ganti as an MP3 file

According to the book on Mehboob by Bunny Reuben the couplet was written
by Agha Hashr Kashmiri and spoken by Rafiq Ghazanavi.

Definitely not Durrani's voice. Prof. Surjit's memory is impeccable.

One of the more colourful renditions of this couplet is in the film Kaala
Bazaar whereupon someone from the crowd watching the parade of Film Stars and
Personalities attending the premier of Mother India, quips upon seeing Mehboob
Khan:
"Muddai Laakh Bura Chaahe To Kya Hotaa Hai
Wohi Hotaa Hai Jo Manzoor-e-Khuda Hota Hai."

A great scene featuring many film personalities including Rafi,Lata, Kishore
and many many more...Curious how all the personalities seem to be rushing into
the film theatre and not really posing for the cameras...its not often we
mortals had a chance to see our film folk "in the flesh" at a film premier and
Mother India's must have been an exceptional one.
