First two (perhaps three), have been written by "Madhukar Rajasthani" and
composed by Khayyaam. I have not heard the last three though. In fact, I
have been looking for the 5th song, since I heard its a very nice one.

Ghazals which I am aware as Rafi and Khayyaam
1. gazab kiyaa tere waade pe Daag dehelvi
2. bas ke dushwaar hai Mirza Ghalib
3. ye na thii hamaarii qismat Mirza Ghalib
4. puuchh na mujhase jan nisaar akhtar (more like a
nazm)
5. qad o gesuu me qaif o mirza ghalib
6. zikr us pariwash kaa mirza ghalib
7. dard minnat kash e dawaa mirza ghalib
8. muddat hu_ii hai yaar ko Mirza Ghalib
and others. In fact, you can look at www.mohdrafi.com to get a list of
ghazals listed with music directors. (They cover the ones available at
Hamaracd and an album Rare Moments by HMV-Saregama). Some ghazals with Taj
Ahmed Khan also sound good (like hamako miTaa sake ye zamaane me dam nahii.N
and haa_e mehamaan kahaa.N ye Gam e jaanaa hogaa"). I also liked the M L
Sonik one "kamar baa.Ndhe huwe baiThe hai.n yaa sab yaar, baiThe hai.n"
(written by Insha Allah Khan Insha, the album says "Traditional"). Perhaps
it was not only Khayyaam in Ghazals, though i find his tunes exceptional,
beyond comparison.
Anyone aware who compose "aye taazaa waaridaan e bisaat e hawaa e dil". Its
tune is so mellifluous that without understanding the shers themselves, I
love to listen the Gazal :-)

You are quite right about #3 also being by Madhukar Rajasthani.
All three, along with several other hajans figure on an EMI CD
(CDNF 153005) titled "tere bharose nandlaal". The title of the
CD is, BTW, a paraphrase of the opening words of yet another
Madhukar Rajasthani bhajan (obviously present on the same CD).
The lyrics of seven of these beautiful bhajans were posted on
RMIM several (~4.5) years ago by Hrishi 'ATMJH' Dixit; here's
a link to retrieve those posts (and some follow-ups thereof):
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=Hrishi+%22Rafi+devotional+songs+%22
Three other must-hear Madhukar Rajasthani + Khaiyyam bhajans
on this CD are:
(1) tere bharose he nandalaalaa
(2) shaam se nehaa lagaaye
(3) more shaam, more shaam
These renditions, especially the last mentioned, are so infused
with bhakti, they can move grown men to tears.

Khaiyyaam. But I guess that's probably obvious by now, eh :)
What's perhaps not equally obvious is the fact that this is
actually one of Ghalib's most famous Ghazals! No, really.
I don't know who exactly was responsible for selecting the
exact couplets to be sung, but I find the way the rendition
skirts the most popular "sher"-s from the Ghazal fiendishly,
clever! Rafi starts with:
ai taaza_waaridaan-e-bisaat-e-hawaa-e-dil
zinhaar agar tumhe.n hawas-e-naa-o-nosh hai
(no iTrans here, so don't waste your breath) and passing
deftly through
dekho mujhe jo deeda-e-ibrat nigaah ho
merI suno jo gosh-e-naseehat-niyosh hai
yaa shab ko dekhte the ke har goshaa-e-bisaat
daamaan-e-baaGhbaan-o-kaf-e-gul_firosh hai
and
yaa subh dam jo dekhiye aa kar to bazm me.n
nai woh suroor-o-soz na josh-o-Kharosh hai
finally comes to a sher that we have all heard sung
by most other singers:
daaGh-e-firaaq-e-sohbat-e-shab kii jalii huii
ik sham'a rah ga_ii hai, so wo bhii Khamosh hai
whereupon one suddenly comes to the absolutely astounding
realization that Rafi was all along singing this Ghalib
Ghazal --
zulmat_kade me.n mere shab-e-Gham kaa josh hai
ik sham'a hai daleel-e-sahar so Khamosh hai
See what I meant about 'fiendishly clever'? :)
Hope you enjoyed discovering the Ghazal as much as I did
the first time I heard Rafi's rendition.

UVR BHai,
The Ghalib ghazal sung by Rafi and music by Khayaaam
ai taaza_waaridaan-e-bisaat-e-hawaa-e-dil
zinhaar agar tumhe.n hawas-e-naa-o-nosh hai
first appeared in 1967 on Ghalib Centenary clelbration presentation.
these
the some of the best renditions of Ghalib to my mind. It is my most
treasured LP. Other ghazals on this LP are:
1. Zikr us parivash ka , aur phir bayaan apna Rafi
2. Ye na thee humari kismat ke visaal -e-yaar hota Begum
Akhtar
3. Mudaat hui ha yaar ko meh maankiye huay Rafi
4. ai taaza_waaridaan-e-bisaat-e-hawaa-e-dil Rafi
5. Qad-o-gaysoo main kasi-o-koh kun ki aazmaish hai Rafi
6. Sub kahaan kuch laaa-oogul main numaya ho gayee Begum
Akhtar
7. Bus ke dushvaar hai hur kaam ka asaa-n hona Rafi
8. Nuktachin hai gum-e-dil usko suna-ay na bane Rafi
9. Baazeecha- -atfaal hai duniya mere aage Rafi
Imagine Ghalib ki ghazal, Rafi aur Begum Akhtar ki awaaz, Khayaam ka
sangeet, Kaifi Aazmi ka narration, aur Ali Jafri ke notes,
comnpilation and research on Ghalib. What a combination !!!
