Few days back, I had posted a list of songs and the corresponding
ragas. Rajan has made some corrections and filled some blanks.
I plan to post a corrected list in near future. There are still
many ?? (question marks) in the list for details I am unsure
about. Net-experts please fill in these blanks. For you ease,
I have separated the entries which had question marks. In case the
format is not clear:

The song "Baura hi gaya andhiyaara" reminded me of the
other (most excellent!) song in the movie, also sung
by Manna Dey : "Tum Bin Jeevan Kaisa Jeevan" - a mixture
of a bunch of ragas. Could somebody post the lyrics??

I don't think so. It is "bhor aayi", in my opinion (bhor = dawn). The second
line of the song seems to support this.
"Bhor aayi gayaa aandhiyaari

the singer is Rajkumari.

Remembered more stuff....more supporting evidence:-)
At some point the female voices sing: "nanhe kiran muskaaye, laage neelaa
gagan badaa pyaaraa badaa pyaara..."
Manna Dey somewhere says: "Dekho kehtaa hai tumse saveraa, yeh saveraa..."
Kishore interrupts with a boisterous interlude:" Good Morning Good Morning
O Pitaji.....The morning rays are coming....subah ki kirane aayi hain..."
Looks pretty much like they're celebrating the glory of morning. Will
someone who has the song confirm and put us out of our misery?

happy morning after the Bawarchi has brought the feuding Brothers and Bhabhis
together and the grand old man H(?) Chattopadhyay is celebrating.
There is no doubt that the song is about "BHOR" and its glories.

By the way does this refer to the song from I think "Saransh";I am not sure
which goes
"Andhiyara ghayaraya,sunaapan ghir aaya,
ghabaraya man mera,charanonmey aaya"
sung by Bhupender.
Or am I mixing up two different songs??
