Rish
Interesting thread, this. Not many come to mind. There's
the Rafi/Kishore/Mukesh song 'Humko tumse ho gaya hai pyaar'
from Amar Akbar Anthony, and 'Mere humsafar, geet hai tere'
by Kishore/Mukesh from Dharam Karam.
But I don't consider these as duets - they're similar songs
picturised on two characters at different locations of
time/space. Strictly speaking, a duet should involve some
form of interaction between the two characters, yes? Like
'Ye dosti' from Sholay or the many songs that Rafi/Kishore
did for all those multi-starrers by Manmohan Desai.
How about yet another list of all permutations of Kishore,
Rafi, Mukesh and Manna Dey?
Begin.
Two songs come to mind - well, not strictly duets but ones where
Kishore, Mukesh + others have sung together.
i) Film - Satyakaam, Song - Zindagi hain kya, bolo zindagi ki hain jya
ii) Film: Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Song - Tick Tick Tick Tick (with Asha)

Was not the YehDosti song a duet of KK and Manna Dey?
Well, there is the song "Haal chaal theek thaak hai" from
Mere Apne - it is a duet by Kishore/Mukesh.
Swami.
this is quite a curious song. for some reason i thought it was
mukesh/manna dey though i may be completely mistaken, having seen the
movie eons ago. can someone post or email the lyrics of this song? all
i remember is that it starts with "B.A. kiyaa. M.A. kiyaa".
thanks
raj
How about the title song from Qurbani-tujhpe qurbaan meri jaan?
I dont remember well, but could someone confirm or deny that the song was by
Kishore and Mukesh?
Or was it Nitin Mukesh?

I can think of one Manna Dey/ Rafi duet ... the song is a very nice
semiclassical tune "Too hai mera prem davata" music by Madan Mohan
... it is one of the songs in the HMV semiclassical collection; I
beleive they have come up with about 8 tapes in this series.
Although there are many Kishore-Rafi duets, Ambarish is right in
pointing out that the # of Rafi-Manna, Manna-Mukesh or KK-Mukesh duets
are very few.

On the same thread ........was the title song from Dharam-Veer, sung
by KK and Mukesh ?
The song goes ...."saat ajubey is dunita mein...aathvi apni jodi"
Aniruddha.
This song was sung by Amit Kumar & not KK.

This song is definitely by Mukesh/Kishore (according to the
credits on the CD).
Here are the lyrics:
Haal chaal theek thaak hai, sub kuchh theek thaak hai,
BA kiya hai, MA kiya, lagta hai woh bhi ainwai kiya,
Kaam naheen hai varna yehan, aap kee dua is sab theek thaak hai.
Aab-o-hawa, wa.wa.wa.wa.....
Aab-o-hawa desh kee bahut saaf hai,
kayada hai, kanoon hai, insaaf hai,
Allah miya jaane koi jiye ya mare,
aadmi ko khoon voon sab maaf hai,
Aur kyaa kahoon, chhoti moti chori,
rishvat khori deti hai apna guzara yehan,
Aap kee dua se baaki theek thaak hai.
Gol mol roti ka pahiya chalaa...
Gol mol roti ka pahiya chalaa,
peechhe peechhe chaandi ka rupaiya chalaa
Roti ko bechari ko cheel le gayee (oh teri),
chaandi le ke munh kaala kauwa chala
Aur kyaa kahoon, maut ka tamaasha,
chalaa hai betahaasha, jeene kee fursat naheen hai yehan,
Aap kee dua se baaki theek thaak hai (very good).
Corrections welcome,
Swami.
