Looking at the quality of the majority of (filmi) singers these days I
would like to say yes ... to your query!
I heard one of Kavita Krishnamurthy's songs in 'Papa kehte hai' and it
sounded terrible (!), to say the least! ... And she is supposed to be one
of our better singers !!?? It sounded as if she sang it half-heartedly!
...and we are left with Udit Narayan & Sanu .. among others!!

Hello,
At a recent gathering, I met someone named: Mukul Agrawal.
He was introduced as someone who has recently directed
some movie and sung few songs in some new movie.
Has anyone heard of him?
Could someone more in touch with recent movies
point me to his songs?
UditN is quite good, mHo. :) So we come back to the old old argument.......
Anybody for the "universe is not ever expanding but cyclic" theory?
:)
Later,
Ikram.
: Anand
Mukul Agarwal was previously Jackie Shroff's secretary. He sang "Kabhi\
Bhoola Kabhi Yaad kiya" from Sapne Saajan Ke (eminently forgettable
movie) and a couple of songs in K Vishwanath's "SANGEET" including
"Ho Rabba Koi to Bataye Pyaar Hota Hai Kya" (music -Anand Milind)
regards
Anand

: On a scale of 1-10, UditN is 0 and Sanu is -100, which means both are
: no good.
The zero when added to any preceeding digit increases the value of the
number. Add UditN to a good tune, and a similar result ensues. :)
But the real question is -
Is the universe cyclic or ever-expanding? :)
:)
: Your call!

aubjection, milaard! and all that sort of a thing.
Both UN and KS are pretty bad, IMOQO (oft quoted opinion, yaar!).
Actually UN is better than KS, but that is the same as saying that a
monkey sings better than a donkey.
On a scale of 1-10, UditN is 0 and Sanu is -100, which means both are
no good.

But of course! However, you are forgetting, my dear fellow, that when
we are talking of a tune and a singer, the operation to be performed
is one of "AND"ing them together (or 'multiplying', if you will), not
"ADD"ing ...
And we all know, don't we, what anything "AND"ed (or multiplied) with
a zero leads us to?

Hmm...I don't know about the Universe, but *my* universe, i.e., RMIM
is doing BOTH! I mean it's ever-expanding cyclically! :) Think of a
helical curve ... it's like the population is increasing, and still
history repeats itself (as in the innumerable World Rafi-KK Wars, the
Sahir-Gulzar war, the Rahman-Crusades, the AB-RD pact ... :) :) ...

Your call, again!
