Hi,

I am interested in knowing which hindi film songs have long
prelude music.

The ones i can think of are:
(1) Dil ke jharoke mein tujko baithakar (97 seconds) - perhaps
one
of the longest prelude music for a hindi song.
(2) Chotti si kahani se, barishon ke paani se (65 seconds)

Can you list some more..

Try these:

- Ae sanam aaj ye qasam, from "Jahanara"

- Aeri aali piya bin, from "Raag Rang"

- Some LP versions of well-known songs like "Jaane kahan gaye woh din"
and "Ang lag jaa" from Mera Naam Joker, or "Honto pe aise baat" from
Jewel Thief - these must run beyond 2 minutes. Doubtless there are many
others.

Regards

Shekhar

The credit goes to the Hindi movie "April Fool" (1964)'s song "Aa Gale lag jaa mere sapne mere apne mere paas Aa". Composer duo Shanker Jaikishan.
