What nonsense!! "Tadipaar" is one of the most ridiculous movies ever!
Songs are so-so. And Mithun's constant "yaar-log" is annoying, as well as
Anupam Kher's ridiculous and cheap role; pray, what business has Anupam
(a great actor otherwise) playing such horrible roles? Pooja the Bhatt
has no real role except to look like a doll :) After seeing "Gumraah"
and "Tadipaar" back-to-back, I'd seriously suggest Mahesh Bhatt take a
trip to the local mental assylum... whatever happened to the director of
great films like "Aashiqui" and "Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke" to name a few??

The closest English meaning for 'tadipaar' would probably be
exile or banished [as in ejected from a community].

'Tadipaar' means a person who is banned from a city, I think...

I think that the meaning of the verb Tadipar is to banish someone.

In the bombaiyaa police lingo Tadipaar is a very common term.
In the simplest terms when a criminal is tadipaar, it means that he or
she is not allowed to enter a specified area for a set amount of time.
I don't know the circumstances under which criminals are 'tadipaared'
so to speak. So, for example, if you are arrested (god forbid!) in
bombay and the court orders you that you are not supposed to enter the
city of bombay for a year, you are known as a tadipaar.
Whew!, I hope that clears things up a little... see ya
