Ramesh, will Ghazals do ? I can provide tons of them. There is one
album "Paimana" by Pankaj Udhas, all that kind of Ghazals. :-)
There is one shayar "Shaikh Adam Abuwala" who perhaps has written
Ghazals only on Sharab. One of my favourites :-)

does anybody know anything about this song? It's sung in that beautiful *soft*
Kishor voice, that he used to reserve for songs like "Yeh Jeevan hai".
Anyway the words are:

I have the feeling that this song was banned! Anyway, I think I have deviated

by Hemant Kumar. This film had a really nice musical score.
This film had another nice "mujra"esque song by Asha which had a very interesting
rhythm to it, the lyrics were "Meri jaan o meri jaan accha nahi itna situm".
I call them "mujra"esque because Hemant gave both these songs an incredible
amount of class with his composition and they are not in the usual "el cheapo"
throw-away category.

Surprisingly :-), this is the title song for the film "Main Nashe me hooN",
music by Shankar - Jaikishen.

One of my favorites in this category is the Geeta Dutt song
"HooN abhi mai jawaaN ai dil, hooN abhi mai jawaaN
behosh hooN bin piye, kal ka bhi gam kisliye"
from I think "Aar Paar". I do remember that it was picturized on Shakeela
and that the music was by Nayyar. What a great song.
