If i remember correctly he uses the toss three times with Viru -
once in the beginning when they wonder whether to help sanjeev kumar,
once when they decide as to whether to rob sanjeev kumar (I am not too sure at this time - but i think they do toss) and the third time when they decide as to who will stay behind fighting with Gabbar singh.

There is another time and that is during the song - Yeh Dosti ...
There is a girl going to get water and they are trying to ogle
at her. After small fight they decide to toss but the coin falls
down and stands on its edge. So neither of them win.

I remember that they toss the coin during the song "Ye dosti", and on that ocassion, the coin stands up on its edge!
If they do indeed toss it once when deciding to put back the jewels, that makesit four times( I am not sure about that time, but the first and third instancesare definitely correct)

Toss # 2 is during the interlude of the song "Yeh dosti..." as has been pointed
out.
Toss # 3:
J: Koi...khas dushmani?
TBS: (Livid with anger) Ye puchna tumhara kaam nahin hai!!
J: To aur ek baat puchche, Thakur sahib? Aap ki nazaron me hum bhi to chor
badmash hai...to is kaam ke liye aap ne hum dono ko kyo chuna?
TBS: Is liye ke sirf loha lohe ko kaat ta hai. Ramlal...Ye rahe 5000
rupaiye. Doosre 5000 Ramgarh pahunchne par, and baaqi kaam khatm hone
par. (Exit left).
V: Yaar, mamla kuch thik nahin lagta hai. Kya kehta hai?
J: (Whipping out coin) Heads, chalte hai, tails...
