Hello RMIMers,

I didn't see this on the newsgroup and was therefore meaning to post
this link for the last few days but just didn't get to it.

Anyway, for the reading pleasure of those who have not already gotten to
it - Here's the link to an article, on the famous South Indian singer
Jikki, from the Entertainment section of The Hindu.

P.G.Krishnaveni, more popularly known as Jikki, sang many songs in
Telugu, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhalese too. She
was married to the famous South Indian singer and music director, A.M. Raja.

The article, authored by Randor Guy, has some interesting information
and a nice picture of Jikki.

Hi Ambrish,

Dinesh Krishnajois had posted this artcile recently with the title
"her tantalising voice will live for ever".
