There were a few late entries as well. Kalyan and Ikram, you were not the

25. Mohan Rathore
26. Vandana Vidwans and Neha Desai
27. Balaji and Malini
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, here are some comments in general about the quiz from all quarters.
First, about "THE GOOD" part(:-)):

Tabassum Hijazi: Quiz is nice with beautiful theme, simple . Clues were
nicely given and were sufficient enough to guess the songs. I enjoyed this
quiz. Your quiz has bring back lots of memories of childhood, which makes
me say sometime
'Yad-e-mazi azaab(pain) hai yaa rab
cheen le mujh se hafiza(memeory) mera'

Nita: Nice quiz! :-) I did have fun going through the quiz. Thanks for
bringing back forgotten memories (well, not all). Overall an easy quiz iw
ould say...

Dhanashri Jagtap: Thanks for that fairly easy and interesting quiz.

Ankur Rastogi: i would like to appreciate your efforts that you have put
in the preparing this quiz.

Shyamali and Joydeep: We really enjoyed the quiz !

Shalini Singh and Sarita Lal: It was good but an easy quiz may be because
of the theme.

Snehal-Suresh: We enjoyed the quiz. Clues are good.

Pritam Dutta: Thanx...enjoyed it ! ... commendable work on the clues..
without them I would have plucked out every hair out of my head. The idea
was really very fantastique !!!! to take a Hollywood masterpiece
pyarellally ( pun inteded :-) ) along with Hindi film song clues !

/* Glad to know hair oil producers are still in business.:-)) */

Prince Kohli and Neeraj Malhotra: We found the format as well as the
theme interesting, based on the sound-of-music song and children
respectively.

Ikram: Kudos to the hosts for attempting to write the quiz in as
engaging a manner as they could.

Balaji and Malini: Good theme. The greatest appeal of this quiz the
brevity of the clues.

Richa Dubey: very nicely written chitrahaar!! I really liked the sound
of music idea.

/* Richa was too late to participate, however that didn't deter her from
sending her comments about the quiz. Thanks Richa. Well, okay, we know
why you liked the quiz so much :-)) */

Pavan Jha and Vinay Jain: Congrats. Simply Great Quiz. The Magic of
"SOUND OF MUSIC' is relived in the Quiz(Also we relived our childhood
days). Beautiful Description of Songs. Loved and Enjoyed every moment of
the quiz.

/* Thank you so much everyone for participating and enjoying this quiz.
It feels very good to know that you all had so much fun, which really was
the intention of this quiz. It makes all our efforts seem worthwhile and
rewarded. */
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now for some general cribs. They are always important for the hosts in
retrospect. Thanks for these too.

S. Jagadish: On the whole nice clues but some were _REALLY_ cryptically
short ! I mean look at #17. I couldnt figure ANYTHIN out ! HELP !

/* ouch, that hurts. We would've thought #17 was the easiest.:)) */

Nita: As you pointed out, there are so many songs for children out there,
it is likely that some of the favourites will get left out. However, I am
not including a list as I am sure someone can come up with Part II of this
quiz soon. There are enough songs for that. :-)

/* Thanks Nita for the kind understanding. BTW, we are looking with all
eagerness upto you for that part-II of this theme.:)) */

Shyamali and Joydeep: The only problem was trying to remember the
lyrics - childrens songs sometimes have inane lyrics , and that makes it
all the more difficult to remember.
/* Talking about Gulzar, arent you? :-)) */

Prince Kohli: I never say this to any other host but in this case, I
believe we could have done with more than just 20 clues :-) There are so
many more songs that you could have gotten to.

/* :)) Okay Prince, how about teaming up with Nita to conduct a part II of
this theme?:)) And yes, we do regret the fact that we couldn't include
more songs or even some which we really wanted to but didn't know the
picturization of. */

Pavan and Vinay: Ek gaane ki kami bahut khali 'Wo kaagaz ki kashti Wo
baarish ka paani' (Filmi version bhi hai, Shayad quiz ke scope mein nahin
aa raha hoga)

/* hain!! filmi version bhi hai!! pahale kyuun nahin batayaa? chalo theek
hai Prince aur Nita use part-II men include kar lenge.:)) BTW, seriously,
a part-II of this quiz is a fantastic idea. */

I feel few non filmi songs were more popular than any other song at
their time.
1. Chaddi Pehan Ke Phool Khila hai
2. Eir Beer Phatte
3. Tap Tap Topi Topi Top Mein Jo Doobe
4. Ek Chidiya Anek Chidiya

/* Yes, all these songs are great. Especially "ek chidiya anek
chidiya".:)) It beats anything and everything I ever saw on TV (or
in films) */

Ikram: But, the actual songs were
still somewhat boring. Didn't our films ever give kids *any*
decent songs to sing?? Btw, any particular reason for ignoring
lullabies and the 'jab hum jawaaN hoNge'/'kya hua tera vaada'
types of songs.

/* oh ummm amm, yes you are right, we should have atleast included "kya
hua tera vada".:)) Especially because its so funny to see the little girl
reading her lines from a piece of paper. :-)) */

Also, since this was the 21st edition, why the nostalgic look
back on childhood? Shouldn't you have perhaps gone for the
'tumko jo dekhte hi pyaar hua'/the-young-adult-in-love
type of songs??

/* Well, okay, you do have point here too. (Geez, Ikram, why didn't you
apply for the post of a beta-tester for this quiz or maybe a quiz
consultant?:)). Anyway, as you know the theme was decided a year ago and
...blah blah blah. */

Also, a personal crib - I tried reading Alice in Wonderland
during my "kidhood" - what an awful read. Gimme "Treasure
Island" or "The adventures of Tom Sawyer" any day...
Lastly, major applause to the hosts for not including
"Oh raajooo, Hey *dai-dee*.... ach-chha maiN mummy se baat
karooNga" (Blech!!!).
/* thaank you, we'll take the applause and forget about the crib.:))*/
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

And here are the correct answers with some comments. The credit for the
pstats is due to Balaji and Malini. They sent in their entry in a very
nice format with all the info. The info is used by means of "copy and
paste" here, with some minor corrections/additions. Thank you B&M for
making life a little easier.:)
-------------------------------------------------------

1. Let's start at the very beginning
a very good place to start...

A father, a mother and a pair of twins of "Hamam" ad. A "chota
parivar sukhi parivar". But, the father and the boys don't care about
population statistics and are asking the mother for a "baby doll"!
Anyway, for us it's a good song to begin the quiz with. (What else did
you expect from Rahmaniacs?) :))

Song : kuchchi kuchchi rakkammaa, paas aa_o naa
Film : Bombay
*ing : Arvind Swamy, Manisha Koirala
Singer(s) : Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, G.V.Prakash, Shardha
Music : A.R.Rahman
Lyrics : Mehboob

Hits: 23/27 (not bad)

Nita: Trust you guys to start with an ARR song! :-) Not his best, though.
You could have squeezed in "dil hai chhoTaa saa..." by stretching the
rules a bit. :-))

Shalini and Sarita: Cannot be classified as kid song. It has kids singing
but concept is adult.
And it is definitely not the good song to start the quiz.
/* Concepts?!! umm ahem hmm..haan main kahaan huun?:-)) And for us, indeed
it was a good song to start with and the reason was chalked in the
clue.:) */

Pritam Datta: YUCK ! pahele hi karela khila diya.. chalo thik hain..
baaki sab mitha hi lagegaa !
/* Rahman doesn't have a big fan following on RMIM, does he?:)*/

Pavan and Vinay: Rehmaan and Maniratnam both are too good in handling
Children Songs.
Rehman scored few beautiful children songs in Gentleman, Bombay and
Indira(Priyanka in Hindi). ManiRatnam did wonders in Anjli. Now Rehmaan
is working with Gulzar saheb in 'Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke' - A film with
lot of children songs. Looking forward to the film.

Balaji and Malini: Looks like Mehboob was so devoid of ideas, he even
retained the Tamil words in the mukhada.

2. When you know the notes to sing
You can sing 'most anything...

Okay, so hark back to your own childhood, for a moment now. Wasn't it
those picnics, family outings and 'masti' with the siblings and
cousins that you enjoyed the most? That is the "scene on the screen"
in our next song, which is the Hindi film alter ego of Julie Andrews'
famous "do re mi" picnic song; only here the kids are escorted by a
*male* chaperone who is all smitten by the kids'
Doe-eyed-Ray-of-hope-for-Me Didi :)

Song : saare ke saare gaamaa ko lekar gaate chale
Film : parichay
*ing : Jeetendra, Jaya Bhaduri, Sanjeev Kumar, Ma. Raju etc.
Singer(s) : Kishore, Asha and chorus
Music : R.D.Burman
Lyrics : Gulzar

Hits: 25/27 (not bad)

3. Follow every rainbow
till you find your dream....

Well, the Didi is always a source of fun for the kids, isn't she?
Especially if she is the type who, no sooner than they're all out of
the grown ups' sight, joins them in their mischief . Just imagine how
deliciously wonderful it is if you got to secretly filch jalebis from
the miThai-man in the mela with her help and splurge on them without
compunction. Now don't worry if the cops chase you and you think
you're stuck. Here you go, our didi is smart enough to break out into
a weird song & dance sequence, and you've thrown the cops off your
scent!

Song : bambaii se gayii puunaa, puunaa se gayii dillii,
dillii se gayii paTanaa, phir bhii na milaa sajanaa
Film : ham hai.n raahii pyaar ke
*ing : Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla
Singer(s) : Alka Yagnik
Music : Nadeem Shravan
Lyrics : Sameer

Hits: 23/27 (expected)

Shalini and Sarita: Cannot be classified as kid song. It has kids singing
but concept is not talking about "Sajna".
/* well, we'll have to get enrolled into Concepts 101 course, it seems.
bhai ham bahut hi "ignorant" hain is baare men, but we do know that this
quiz is supposed t be about songs *picturized* on children. Ab agar
aajkal ke bacche gana shuru kar den ki "duudh peene me aur chocolate
khaane tak men tension hai" to kya kahen, kalyug hai, nahin? ;-)) */

Ikram: Has anybody ever wondered why the organisers of
the song competition had such a weird map of India ??

4. La, a note to follow So....

Trains! Kids love trains. And Dada-ji knows this. These
affectionate Dadajis become a friend of the children of the entire
building/colony, don't they? So here we go, with Dadaji playing
"train" - "chhuk chhuk chhuk chhuk" from one station to another.

Song : relagaa.Dii chhuk chhuk chhuk chhuk
Film : aashirvaad
*ing : Ashok Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar etc
Singer(s) : Ashok Kumar
Music : Vasant Desai
Lyrics : Gulzar

Hits: 25/27 (expected)

Nita: I can never remember the name of the film but this song has been
part of my musical memories ever since I was a child. I always used to
wonder how Ashok Kumar could sing a song when he was not a singer. It was
only later when I learnt that he had been a big star in a period where
actors and actresses were supposed to sing their own songs that I
understood that there was more to him than the grandfatherly figure he
portrayed when I first started seeing movies. :-)

5. Soon her mama with a gleaming gloat heard
lay ee odl lay ee odl lay hmmm hmmm...

That was the grampa? What about gramma? This kid says something of
hers has been spirited away by the peacocks.

Song : naanii terii moranii ko mor le gaye
Film : maasuum
*ing : Sarosh Irani, Aziz, Honey Irani (should it be Daisy Irani?)
Singer(s) : Ranu Mukherji
Music : Hemant Kumar
Lyrics : Shailendra

Hits: 25/27 (expected all to get it!)

6. How do you catch a cloud and pin it down...:)

One thing kids know better than adults is not to let schooling
interfere with their education. They have their own ways of learning
the important things like the A-B-Cs or "a aa i ii". Take the boy in
this song who's doing it using a song filled with utterly nonsensical
lyrics about receiving a letter from the master-ji. BTW, do you know
the brand name of the 'chaDDi' that the 'phool' wore 'khilne se
pehle'? It's mentioned in this song! Yep, you guessed right, it's
the same VIP! Who else can write such deliciously meaningless
balderdash? Incidentally, the title song of the Hindi version of the
cartoon show "Alice in Wonderland" has the same brand name. "tap tap
topi topi top men jo duube...":)

Song : a aa i ii maasTar jii kii aa_ii chiTThii
Film : kitaab
*ing : Uttam Kumar, Vidya Sinha, Ma. Raju etc
Singer(s) : Shivangi Kolhapure, Padmini Kolhapure
Music : R.D.Burman
Lyrics : Gulzar

Hits: 16/27 (more than expected:))

Balaji and malini: Any other siblings sing a same sex duet, i.e. other
than the ubiquitous Mangeshkar sisters?
/* Not that I can think of, maybe RMIMers can shed some light on this. It
is an interesting question.*/

7. doe a deer a female deer....

This may sound sexist, but it's true that kids prefer masterni-s to
the masterji-s. Usually this is because the masterni-s know that the
kids would love dressing up as jungle animals and singing a song about
"live and let live - with love". But, while these two seem to be very
conscientious about their SPCA membership, they don't seem quite so
clever when it comes to doing simple math! Ever heard of a school
teacher who actually thinks that 2+2 > 4 ?!

Song : prem se hamako jiine do, jiine do
Film : do aur do paa.Nch
*ing : Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Parveen Babi, Hema Malini
Singer(s) : Lata, Kishore, Amit Kumar, Mehmood and chorus
Music : Rajesh Roshan
Lyrics : Anjaan

Hits: 11/27 (okay)

Ikram: I hate the kid's parts - tho' I love it when the Lion
announces 'sab bakwaas hai, sab bakwaas' :)
/*Surprisingly, this was the song that most people got wrong. Many
thought it to be "jo soche jo samjhen woh kar ke dikha den"!!*/

8. And here I 'm facing adventure
then why am I so scared...

It's another jungle story in this song, one of the kind that never
fails to enthrall kids: a story about how the narrator met a
man-eating lion in the jungle. It's a mistake to suppose, however,
that children would get so engrossed in the story as to lose track of
reality. In this song, when the narrator, the hero of the film, tells
the kids at the end of the lion-story that the lion ate him up, one of
them immediately pipes up and asks him, "if the lion ate you, how're
you alive right now?" :)) Adults, beware! Don't think you can fool
the kids this easily! :)

Song : mere paas aa_o mere dosto.n ek qissaa suno
Film : Mr. natavaralaal
*ing : Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha
Singer(s) : Amitabh Bachchan and chorus
Music : Rajesh Roshan
Lyrics : Anand Bakhshi

Hits: 26/27 (good)

Pavan and Vinay: Big B's Best Song Ever(as far as singing is concerned).
Superbly Executed. Eir Bir Phatte is another Superb song by the singer
/* Big B's voice is his biggest asset in his otherwise drab singing, IMO.
So all his songs are equally good to me.*/

Mohan Rathore: Didn't one more song from this movie featured in recent
RJGK. This wasteful movie is getting undue attention on RMIM.

9. Strength doesn't lie in numbers
strength doesn't lie in wealth...

One way of inspiring school children to be great achievers is to tell
them stories about great men and women of the world. The headmaster
of the residential school in this song thinks that nothing could be
more inspiring than the life story of a frail bald man who led the
country to independence without so much as a sword or a shield.
That's the story he's taught his students, and that's the story this
proud patriot of a young boy on crutches is singing in Asha Bhonsle's
immaculate voice.

Song : dedii hame.n aazaadii binaa khaDga binaa Dhaal
Film : jaagriti
*ing : Abhi Bhattacharya
Singer(s) : Asha Bhosle
Music : Hemant Kumar
Lyrics : Pradeep

Hits: 25/27 (good enough)

Nita: A beautiful song, beautifully sung!!
Dhanashri: very easy for those who have watched chaayageet/ chitrahaar
on dd
around 2 Oct/15 Aug/ 26 Jan

10. ...they will look up to me..

Speaking of patriotism, there's the song sung by this strappling young
lad in his teeny weeny army fatigues, who appears on our TV sets every
August 15th claiming to be a soldier of the Nation and inviting us to
say "Jai Hind, Jai Hind" with him!

Song : nanhaa munnaa raahii huu.N, desh kaa sipaahii huu.N
Film : Son of India
*ing : Ma. Sajid, Kumkum etc
Singer(s) : Shanti Mathur
Music : Naushad
Lyrics : Shakeel Badayuni

Hits: 27/27 (good job, we are proud of you):)

Nita; Oh no!!!! Not here too!

Pritam Datta: nanha munna rahi hoon
desh kaa 'scientist' hoon
bolo mere sang 'nuclear bomb... nuclear bomb...'
Sorry cudn't help it.

11. And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
is popping out to say cuckoo..

Alright, enough of stories and all those kiddish things. Let's talk
about high school days. Ah, those wondrous days! Hey, did you hear
about those high school kids who went to a picnic with their teacher?
Did they finally answer the puzzle about the weird birds she was
asking? And the teacher was so young and beautiful, nahin? Hey, hey,
hold it guys, this is not a Pavan-UVR quiz, so no steamy clues here.
:))

Song : tiitar ke do aage tiitar, tiitar ke do piichhe tiitar
Film : meraa naam jokar
*ing : Raj Kapoor, Simi, Manoj Kumar, Padmini, Dharmendra, Rishi
Kapoor etc
Singer(s) : Asha Bhosle, Simi, Mukesh etc
Music : Shankar Jaikishan
Lyrics : Hasrat Jaipuri

Hits: 21/27 (expected)

Balaji and Malini: No steam without boiling water, is there :)?
/* :-)) */

12. I am sixteen going on seventeen...

Hey and there was this girl, who had a crush on a daring-dashing film
star Dharmendra. Remember, she was "found" being late to school when
she overslept dreaming about her leading man and tried to sneak in to
the morning assembly and take up her position as the choir lead,
singing this prayer asking the Almighty for the strength of Mind to
win over ... the Mind.

Song : hamako man kii shakti denaa, man vijay kare
Film : guDDii
*ing : Jaya Bhaduri, Dharmendra
Singer(s) : Vani Jayaram and chorus
Music : Vasant Desai
Lyrics : Gulzar

Hits: 27/27 (expected)

Kalyan: You can't call JayaB a kid!
/* No we can't really at this age atleast. But back then what was she
doing in a "grade school" or "high school" if you will. :) (shhh... don't
say it now, lekin pata hai pata hai, you forgot to mention the same thing
about RishiK in MNJ;-))*/
Ikram: I want to know how many folks made that hoary old pj about "man ki"
(besides Ketan, of course :) ). For the Quiz-masters' sanity, I hope the
answer is "none".
/* Thanks for the concern about quizmasters' sanity. jug jug jiyo.:)) */

13. Mi, a name I call myself...

Though we adults pride ourselves on constructing constitutions that
guarantee equality under law and non-discrimination on the basis of
caste, creed, gender or religion, it is really the children who
acutally practice these credos without even being aware of it. This
song is about one such "terminally-ill" kid who is trying to get the
religious intolerance out from the heads of the two servants in her
house, by singing this song at the occasion of her own birthday
party. Want a clue? The girl in the song has now grown up to be a big
goddess-woman quite literally worshipped her South Indian fans!

Song : kaun huu.N mai.n kyaa naam hai meraa,
mai.n kahaa.N se aayii huu.N
mai.n pariyo.N kii shahazaadi mai.n aasamaan se aayii huu.N
Film : dard kaa rishtaa
*ing : Sunil Dutt, Smita Patil, Khushboo
Singer(s) : Lata
Music : R.D.Burman
Lyrics : Anand Bakhshi

Hits: 12/27 (expected)

14. One little girl in a pale pink coat heard
lay eeodl lay ee odl lay hoo hoo...

While on the topic of South Indian films, let's look at this song from
the Hindi dubbed version of one made by one of the greatest Indian
film makers of recent times. The director's excellence can be seen by
the fact that with this one song he brilliantly exemplifies the way
children react with suspicion, rejection and animosity when forced to
deal with things they are confused about and can't quite comprehend,
but how they are quick to embrace the very people they rejected
earlier once the situation is explained to them. In the song in
question, the kids of an entire neighborhood tease, taunt and torment
the "special" toddler-sister of two of the other kids, who promptly
pick a fight with the tormenters and teach them how to love the little
toddler. Within minutes, all the kids are singing the title song of
this Ilaiyaraja-MD'd tear-jerker film.

Song : a.njali a.njali a.njali
Film : a.njali
*ing : Raghuvaran, Revathi, Baby Shyamali
Singer(s) :
Music : Ilaiyaraja
Lyrics :

Hits: 23/27 (okay)

S. Jagadish: Didnt find the need for many sogns in this
excellent movie, and the romantic angle. Actually
maybe Mani was trying to portray a normal colony
with love story et al !

Balaji and Malini: Don't know any other p-stats. In fact, didn't know a
Hindi version existed
/* You are not alone, some others thought so too.*/

15. Nothing comes from nothing
nothing ever could...

This may sound cliched too, but no one can deny that one of the things
that can at once be both extremely cute and stymieingly difficult
about growing boys (and we're not just talking about the "Complan Boy"
here :) is the number of questions they ask. Contrary to popular
American lore, it isn't always "where do babies come from" that these
boys want to know. They also ask more profound questions such as
"where did the flowers come from", "who made the stars in the sky" and
other such. In films, it is often the Daddys of these pesky boys who
have to deal with these questions about the origin of all the
beautiful things of Nature. This song is from an "art-y" movie by a
director who has sadly given up making such movies anymore. Nice
movie about the diverse ways of the couple and their common concern
for their only child. Still gaping for a clue? Okay, let's make it
simple...ever seen Jackie without a moustache?(yuck):))

Song : phuul ye kahaa.N se aaye hai.n
Film : kaash
*ing : Jackie, Dimple
Singer(s) : Kishore Kumar and some kid
Music :
Lyrics :

Hits: 11/27 (more than expected):)

16. How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand...

Well, life is not exactly a bed of roses, not for some children
atleast. Another movie, this time an old one, starring two of the
greatest names of Hindi cinema, about an estranged couple and their
daughter. The daughter is eagerly waiting for her parents to show up
at the Parent's Day function, do they? Anyway, the song she is
singing with other children is about "chandamama" being invited to her
house. Great expectations, huh!

Song : chadaamaamaa mere dvaar aanaa
Film : laajavanti
*ing : Nargis, Balraj Sahni, Baby Naaz
Singer(s) : Asha Bhosle, Manna Dey
Music : S.D.Burman
Lyrics : Majrooh Sultanpuri

Hits: 10/27 (pathetic!)

Tabassum: not the sure of exact wording, it seems getting too old to
remember kid's songs (but still young enough to attend such
quizs :-) )
/* yeah! that's the spirit. */

Shalini and Sarita: Should have choosen the other one "Kuch din phele ek
taal mein kamalkunj ke andar"
/* We actually did, but then decided on "chandamama mere dwar aana" since
we thought the "concept" of a child inviting the moon would be better than
a 30+ woman singing about a "hans ka joda".;-)*/

17. I have confidence the world can all be mine...

Hey, kid, what's that you've got clasped in your hand there?

Song : nanhe munne bachche terii muTThii me.n kyaa hai
Film : buuT paulish
*ing : David, Baby Naaz, Ma. Ratan Kumar etc
Singer(s) : Rafi, Asha Bhosle
Music : Shankar Jaikishan
Lyrics : Shailendra

Hits: 25/27 (what?!! RMIMers don't cease to surprise, do they?)

18. Lo and behold you're someone's wife
And you belong to him

Children sometimes surprise us with their amazing perceptiveness.
Look at this pair of kids who know that their papa, though not married
to their mummy, loves her, and vice versa! And they're confident
enough of what they know that they're making a song and dance about it
on a public stage! Later in the movie they succeed in reconciling
their parents and leading to the proverbial happy ending!

Song : hai na bolo bolo, paapaa ko mammii se, mammii ko paapaa se
Film : andaaz
*ing : Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini
Singer(s) : Rafi, Suman Kalyanpur, Sushma Shrestha, Pratibha
Music : Shankar Jaikishan
Lyrics : Hasrat Jaipuri

Hits: 23/27 (okay)

Tabassum: I dont like this song, kids are trying to be oversmart.
/* H: I share your sentiment Tabassum.*/

Kalyan: This song reminds me of an RMIMer :)
Ikram: So, did anybody else resist the "hyena" reference, I wonder...
/* well, people did, although I wonder what a difficult task it must have
been...:-))*/

19. So Do La Fa Mi Do Re

Mogambo Khush hua! And bachcha log bhi Khush hue parody gaa ke!

Song : na maa.nge sonaa chaandii, ham maa.nge maafii diidii
Film : Mr. India
*ing : Anil Kapoor, Sridevi
Singer(s) : Kavita Krishnamurthy, Mohd. Aziz and chorus
Music : Lakshmikant Pyarelal
Lyrics : Javed Akhtar

Hits: 24/27 (okay)

Ikram: Ah, a tribute to Copa del Mundo, eh??

20. Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels....

And we leave you with a song about striking the wooden horse on its
tail with a hammer!

Song : laka.Dii kii kaaThii, kaaThii pe gho.Daa
Film : maasuum
*ing : Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Jugal Hansraj, Urmila etc
Singer(s) : Vanita Mishra, Gurpreet Kaur, Gauri Bapat
