I just heard the classical dance song "Mun mora banwara" sung by Rafi
in the movie Ragini.

Can some one tell me what is the raag on which this song is based?

This site indicates that 'man mora bawra' is based on raag Tilang. I'd
love to be corrected here but I could not find conclusive phrases of
Tilang here. The author, however has listed most of the other film
songs based on raag Tilang correctly (he has missed out Lata's 'sajan
sang kaahe neha lagaaye' from Main Nashe Mein Hoon')

I think the author has mixed up this song with the Asha song from the movie that is in Tilang - "chhotaa saa baalamaa".

Doesn't sound like Tilang its most probably Bhairavi and seems closer to Darbari also
