Recently I have seen Yeh Guslistan Hamara being mentioned in some thread. This
movie was released somewhere in 1974/75 and was immediately banned because
the censor board felt that it offended the sentiments of Sikkim (or was it
Nagaland) people.
The movie starred Dev Anand and Sharmila Tagore ( have they acted in any other
movie). IIRC YGH has never been shown in any of the cable TV network in India,
at least till I was in India.
Coming to the songs of the movie it had one great song. Gori Gori gaon ki
chori re (beautiful interludes - typical SDB touch) by KK and Lata. The only
other song I am aware of is "mera naam aao mera pass aao" , a horrible KK song.
