PYAR KI JEET (1948) - If anyone has seen it from a VHS tape or was ever shown on BBC TV (U.K.)

The film, featuring Suraiya and Rehman was produced
by Famous Pictures, whose owner (the name eludes me
right now), but there was a good write-up on him in the book:
Encyclopedia Of Indian Cinema).


Mr. ?? , also ran other film - production related businesses
(studio, film processing lab, music recording studio) and all of
which were much in demand atleast until end of 50's and their
names appear in titles of many many films. So, it can not be
lack of money, for safe-keeping of prints or negatives.


While other films produced by Famous Pictures, namely
BARI BAHEN (1949) and SHAMA PARWANA (1954) are
available on VHS / VCD etc. 'Dil Ke Hazaar Tukdon - wali'
PYAR KI JEET has not seen light of the day, siince its
showing in the darkness of cinema halls. Even 1 minute clip
is not listed at YouTube


Well, the songs (78 rpm for this + Bari Bahen) have been
availble for decades.


I don't think the film will be enjoyable any more. However, I
would like to hear the Film Versions just once.
