I came across this link
http://www.anubhuti-hindi.org/gauravgranth/jhansikirani/jansikirani.htm

It's the poem 'Jhansi ki Rani' by Subhadra Kumari Chauhan Could
someone tell me if they feel there are some additional stanzas in the
version up at this site?

I'm sure there are quite a few stanszas that were not included in the
school text books further these stanzas also do not look like her
work. They don't have the easy style.

a sample stanza(not ITransed) that I don't recall having encountered
before.

Laxmi thi ya duraga thi wo svayam veerta ki avtaar
dekh marathe pulkit hote uski talwaron ke vaar
nakli yudh vyuh ki rachna aur khelna khoob shikar
sainya gherna durg todna yeh the uske priye khilwaar

maharashtra - kul - devi - uski
bhi aaradhya bhavaani thi
Bundele harbolon ke muh....
.....

Another one..
Anunya vinay nahin sunata hai, vikat firangi ki maya,
vyapari ban daya chahata tha jab yeh bharat aaya,
Dalhousie ne pair pasare ab to palat gayi kaaya,
rajao nawabo ko bhi usne pairon thukraya

Rani dasi bani, bani yeh
dasi ab maharani thi
Bundele harbolon ke muh.....

The writing style in the first stanza is not like the rest..not in the
catchy rhythm and flow that the rest of the poem takes.

There are other stanzas as well that I do not recall at all. Also
wasn't there a stanza about 'Kana aur Mundhra uski do saheli
thi.n?....Is my memory failing me or did the school books carry just
an extract and not the entire poem? Or is this site just carrying a
wrong/incomplete version.

Would be glad if someone looked into it.

P.S I know this is not music related but I could not think of another
forum where people are as informed about Hindi poetry.

Probably the original poem has all those stanzas. Have a look at the
other site for this poem

http://www.manaskriti.com/kaavyaalaya/jhansi.stm

I believe that kaavyaalaya and anubhuti are two different sites.
Kaavyaalaya was started much before the anubhuti was set up.
