: Other than some of the dubbings/remakes (eg. Shiva, Geetanajali) one film
: I know of is Sadma. Was he the MD of Sargam (Rishi, JP)?
Sadma was also a remake and the music of original was copied ditto. So it
cant be considered as something original done for a hindi movie.
I dont think he was MD for Sargam. I am not sure but i think its music is
by LP.
Sanjay
I dunno abt Sadma ... but Sargam music was by Laxmikant Pyarelal

Partly true. I remember at least one original score. "O zindagi gale laga le",
in place of the original "Poonkatru pudidanadu". The interludes to the
song were the same as in Poonkatru, though. (Can't imagine why he
replaced "Ponnkatru". It was a equally good tune.).
He later reused the "O zindagi" tune in Tamil, in Thabikku enda ooru.
Cheers,
Anand.

Habib,
'TuTuTu tara' is from 'BolRadhaBol' from music-directors 'Anand-Milind, the
famous duo for LIFTING tunes from SouthIndian movies particularly from
Illayaraja's tunes.
Beta's 'dhak, dhak', ' O piya, piya' from Amir/madhuri strarer (I don't
remember the name) etc.. etc are straight lifts from IllayaRaja's tunes.
Habib!, don't try to blame if you do,t know.
