Hi

How long is the film actually supposed to be? People kept on telling me
in India that it is a really long film...however, when I went to see it
in Chanakypuri in Delhi...it lasted just under 3 hours...and that
included the intermission break.

Also, I have a feeling that a couple of songs were missed out from the
film...and they are not to be found on any audio cassettes either.
Reason I say this is because Salman (when he is taking Madhuri to his
house...just before the song...erm...forgot...something ka mausam),
mentions to Madhuri that he is a fan of her singing...when she was
waiting for him on the roof of her house.

There was another time too, but I can't remember....

Yeah, the song which was cut is "Choclate icecream......". It was not
that good anyway. Original movie with all the songs was 3 hrs 40 mins.
Now after cutting 2 songs (the other one is the Vidai song after marriage)
and some scenes it is around 3 hrs and 25 mins. Different places may be cutting
different songs/scenes.

I saw the "full" movie in Canada 2 months ago and saw the "cut" version
in India last month.

Also, a second audio cassete has been released which contains 4 extra songs.
So toal 14 songs!

HAHK has been running in the Belle Vue Cinema in Edgware, London for the
last 25 weeks( claimed by the owners to be the first silver jubilee for
an Indian film outside of India). If you want to see it, then better hurry
as I dont think it will be around for much longer.
I have seen the movie twice and believe they show the full version.
