Great songs Amar... I would like to add to this list, and was wondering
if any of you KK fans would be interested in making some sort of database
of favorite KK songs... meaning database of the lyrics of his well known
songs. That should be a treat. I know its difficult to make a list of my
TOP TEN, but here goes:
1. Pyaar Kar Liya To Kya Kabhie Kabhie
2. Meet Na Mila Re Man Ka Abhimaan
3. Teri Bindiya Re... Abhimaan
4. Aisa Kabhi Hua Nahin... Yeh Vaada Raha
5. Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai Kati Patang
6. Mere Saamne Waali Khirki Mein Padosi
7. Tere Bina Bhi Kya Jeena Muqaddar Ka Sikander
8. Roop Tera Mastaana Araadhna
9. Mere Sapnon Ki Raani Araadhna
10.Aaj Rapat Jaa-aein To... Namak Halal
These list is off the top of my head, I will shortly post some of the
lyrics of the above songs, and would urge other KK fans to do the same.

A very tough task indeed, to choose just ten favorite songs of KK. Here is my
list though. Apart from KK's voice, the lyrics and music of these songs have
played an important role in my choosing them. Here it is, in order, number 1
being the most liked by me. I need not add that all such lists are subjective
and differ from person to person. All of these are KK solo. I would like to
see similar list for KK duets also. I will post mine soon.
1) aaye tum yaad mujhe, gane lagi har dhadkan Mili
2) rimzim gire sawan, sulag sulag jaye man Manzil
3) ina meena deeka Aasha
4) baad muddat ke ham tum mile, mud ke dekha to hai fasle Kaash
5) yadon me woh, sapnon me hain, jaye kahan Swami
6) koi hamdam na raha, koi sahara na raha Jhumroo
7) badi sooni sooni hai zindagi yeh zindagi Mili
8) phoolon ke rang se dil ki kalam se Gambler
9) saagar kinare dil ye pukare Saagar
10) main pyasa tum savan, main dil tu meri dhadkan Faraar (*)
11) kiska rasta dekhe ai dil ai saudai Joshila
(*) Is this a duet? I am not sure.

Well, this is my list of top 10 kk songs. It was kind of difficult to
choose, b'cos there are lot of songs which I like. Any way I tried it out.

3) Meere naina sawan baadon
4) Zindagi ka safar
5) Aa chalke tujhe, mai leke cheloo
6) chalte chalte
7) kuch to log kahenge
8) Aaja Aaja, mere dil ne tadap ke jab naam tera pukara
9) Mere samne wale khidiki me ek chand sa tukuda
10)mai pyasa tum sawan
