When i was a student in vth standard the "Hawa Hawa" song was really
really popular even in the southern end of india ie our land.years
after i knew the singer is Hasan jahangir but i surprised because
after such a mega hit there is not any such hits or he didnt got any
chances in films.
That song brings some "nostalgic hawaein" as that song influenced me
and my close friends and other schoolmates at that time.
I want to know about Hasan Jahangir.I searched it in google.but got
only certain mp3 and real audio formats of his songs.
At that time we heard a rumour that somebody killed that singer.i
enquired it among friends and some elder persons but didnt get
valuable info.now i know he is alive and please give the details.Many
of the RMIMers have extensive knowledge in all kinds of music.I am
waiting for their words.

"havaa havaa" was used in a movie called Don II. Though I don't
remember whether it was in Hasan Jahangir's voice or it was resung
by some other singer for the film version
(like Attaulla Khan's "achChaa silaa diyaa tuune mere pyaar kaa"
resung by Sonu Nigam for Kishan Kumar's Bewafa Sanam)
Don II had another song which went like
shaam ko milanaa hai hoTal me.n ik la.Dakii se
yaaro.n mujhe bas aaj bachaalo paiso.n ki ka.Dakii se
I don't remember whether it was a non-film song too used for that
movie, let alone who sang it.

Hi Guys,
I was just searching for Hasan Jahangir, a Famous Pakistani Singer, and
saw ur blog. He is still singing; however, now his focus is more into
giving a chance to new comers. He is opening a recording studio in
karachi, Pakistan, to support new comers.
After Hawa Hawa fame, is has several hits such as Hatto Bacho, Shadi na
karna yaaron, and many more, I believe he just made a remix of Hawa Hawa
which sounds awesome.
