Looking for lyrics: chinnam sirikkiliye

I am looking for the lyrics of the Tamizh song "chinnam sirikkiliye". I
believe this is a devotional song addressed to Krishna, and it was written
by Subramaniam Bharati.

I suppose you are referring to Chinnam chiru kiliye kannama
song. It is a popular choice for ragamalika in many
carnatic concerts. The song is not about Krishna nor it is
devotional. It is about romantic song. Bharathiyar originally
set it to raga bhairavi. But, people changed the tune and made
it raga malika. Got the lyric from a website. I am not
100% sure about how correct the lyric is. Wherever I am
unsure I have marked it with (>>). Whoever knows better

Is this in anyway related to Bharatiar's suthi vizhi chudar thaan kannamma
that was used by ARR in Kandukondain kandukondain? The meter fits and for
the most part, the lyrics rhyme as well.

First a correction. The song indeed seems to be kannan song.
Bharati had depicted krishna as a female lover.

that come to my mind are

Kaatru veli idai kannamma ninthan kaadhalai enni enni thavikinren.
Film: Kappalottiya thamizhan. PS-PBS duet. MD G.Ramanathan

Ninnaye Rathi endru azhaikiren adi kannamma is another. The
MD was T.Rajender! The song is set to raga Kalyana Vasantham.
Don't remember the movie.
