Poll: Worst Singer of all time?

This would have to go to Vijay Benedict. If you don't remember him you
are very lucky. Remeber Mithun's song "I am a Disco Dancer!" and also
"Kasam Paida Karnewale Ki!" I still have nightmares.

DD was OK. AMong the females it would be Sharada who croaked in Around the
World. THe male singer would be Kumar Sanu. He was good only as long as he
copied KK.

HI!
My vote for the worst singer of all time would go to 2 guys:
1. Shabbir Kumar (the lousiest, most screwed up clone of Rafi)
2. Kumar Sanu (the only thing he succesfully did was make Kishore turn in
his grave)

My first thought was Kumar Sanu, until someone reminded me of Shabbir
Kr. Going beyond the scope of this thread, among MDs, I would rate Nadeem-S
and Bappi-L the worst (in that order).

That probably explains why Sanu is the only singer bolywood has ever had
who won 5 filmfare awards in a row! An achievement which not even
Mukesh, Rafi, KK , Lata or Asha have made!

HI!
Why Mahendra Kapoor? He's given us some gems for movies like
Gumraah, Humraaz,.... I feel that he is INFINITE times better than
Shabbir Kumar and Kumar Sanu. (Is it a co-incidence that the worst
singers have a Kumar in their names??) Just kidding, I don't want to
start a flame!

What about Kamlesh Awashti , a Mukesh clone who sang "Zindagi Imithiaan lati
hai .." in Naseeb. GOD , he sucks big time.
