Perhaps with so many singers featured it's inappropriate to list this
as a *Lata song*, but she absolutely lifts the song with the way
"jhuumake" is sung.

It is a joyride. Manoranjan on the whole is a very manoranjak album.
The criminal accusation part of your mail, however, is not really true.
Asif posted this song about over a year ago on giitaayan. Why you could
not find this in your searches has to do with the song being pending
for review. It is still in the review queue and hence does not show
anywhere. Not your fault. As I said before, once the queue is clear,
such things can be avoided. And may be, I will publish a list of
submitted songs that are under review until that happens.
Vinay
You are right Vinay. Indeed it is the Burman's penchant. The use of
these words in the song has the following history :
These words ( Goyaake Chunanche ) were used by Kishore in a few songs.
Kishore and Pancham were good friends. So Pancham used to utter these (
and many other nonsensical ) words when he used to compose the songs.
For Panchamda it was just a filler to the tune that he is composing (
the time when there are no lyrics )
Randhir Kapoor confirmed in a recent interview ( last month...I would
soon have it in video format with me ) that Pancham was indeed using
Goyake Chunanche, as fillers, with no meaning intended....later on then
they decided to keep them in the song as it is.

Asif
Correct........there are many instances in Panchamda's songs where the
lyrics were adapted in the film.........once Gulshan Bawra's complete
residential address in Bombay, was made into a song antara ( when
Pancham was composing he used these dummy words of Gulshan Bawras
residential address )
....now RMIMER's find out this song ;)
