Jayashree has sung all her songs herself in the movie. Giitaayan already has
the most popular song from the movie - ambuaa ke Daarii pe bole re koyaliya.
She appears to have been quite a reasonable singer sounding a bit like early
Geeta. However, doesn't look like she continued her singing beyond this
movie. Lata seems to have taken over playback for her from then on - Subah
ka tara, parchhaaii etc.

On the screen, she seemed to sing this song as if she had
a paan or something in her mouth. And the typical Shantaram
touch --- a constant restless shaking of the face, which one
can see in the case of Sandhya too in other films.
In the second and fourth lines, it is "chaaheN", not
"chaahe".
In the last sher, first line, it should be "chhupaaye",
and not "chhupaayeN".
