I was wondering about AB dialogues thread since i didn't see one for the last
few days. here is one...
movie : Sharaabi
Scene : AB's birthay and has been waiting for meena for a long time. AB is
talking to munshiji.
AB : (angry and frustrated) yeh sub aapki wajeh se hua hai munshiji. kya kehte
the aap, haaa, jab tak zindagi mein aurat na aa jaaye tab tak mard ki baat
mein wazan nahee paida hota. ab dekhiye, baat mein wazan paida karte karte
hummara wazan gir pada hai. pehle humhe kisi ka intezaar karte dekha hai
aapne, abhi to aisa lag raha hai ki hum jubse paida hua hein, tubse
kisi ka intezaar kar rahe hein.
Munshi: beta, mera dil kehta hai chahe qayamat aaye vo jaroor aayegi..
AB : haa..(looks at the candle)munshiji agar uss mombatti ke bujhne tak vo
nahin aayi, to... to(thinking...) humhe mombattiyon se hamesha ke liye
nafrat ho jaayegi.
Munshi: vo jaroor aayegi beta..
AB : vaise ek baat kahen munshiji.., vo jaroor aayegi.....(picks up the guitar)
la la la looooo
la la la looooo
la la la la
la la la la
uhh huu huuu
wooooow... what a song!!
well AB fans out there, I'm pretty sure u gys have lot of stuff to post.keep

I am not sure about the accuracy of the dialogues.....may be
Ancha could help out.
AB to JayaPradha(he is inviting her to his b'day party adn jaya
has problems commiting):
JP: Mein aane ka vaada to nahin kar sakti, magar koshish karungi
AB: haan!! Vaade aksar toot jate hein, koshishen kamiyaab ho jati hain.
hum aapke is koshish ka intejaar karenge.

That was perfect Satish. I have got one more from the same scene. this one
is before the dialogue u have posted.
JP : vicky babu, itna keemti tohfa mein kuubul nahin kar sakti.(or something like that)
AB : Meena ji, tohfe ki keemat nahin dene waale ki neeyat dekhi jaati hai!!!!

Meena: Kalaakaar ko sirf paisoan ki jaroorat nahin, Use thaaliyoan ke
bhook hoti hai.
AB: Meena ji aap jab nachegi, aur hum ne hajaar thaaliyoan ki ghooj
nahi sunadi to, hamaari naam bi Vicki nahin hai.
I think somewhere in between these, Munshiji says some shayaari too.
Guys please correct it.

AB : haaan, ye hall khali kyon hai?? vo aapke natwar shah sahab aaye the hamare
paas, kaha ki ek naye kalakaar ki hosla-afzayi karnihai, to hamne socha
ki kanha dar dar ticket bechte phirenge, saare ticket hami ne khareed liye.
Me : shayad aapko maalum nahin kalakaar paiso ka nahin, taarif ka bhuka hota,
talliyon ki...blah blah blah
AB : va meenaji aapne to badi gehraayi waali baat kehdi, itni gehraayi me to hum
kabhi gaye hi nahin, upar hi upar ter ke nikal gaye.
Me : jo baat ki gehrayi ko nahin samajhta, vo kalakaar ki kala ko kya samjhega.
jo kalakaar ki kala ko na samjhe vo insaan nahin hota!! agar yehi sab dekhna
tha to tawif ke kothe pe kyo nahin chale gaye!!
AB : Tawaif! kotha! to hum aapko kothon pe jaane waale nazar aate hain. Meenaji
hum to aapki hosla-afzayi karne aaye the, aapne to hume zalleel karke rakh
diya. kotha kya cheez hai aur tawaif kise kehte hain, yeh na hum jaante hain
aur na hi jaan-na chahte hein. aur jo baat aapne kahin ki jo insaan kalakaar
ki kala na jaanta ho, vo insaan nahin hota, to is baat pe hum bhi kehna chahenge
ki jo kalakaar insaan ko na jaanta ho, vo kalakaar bhi insaan nahin hota.
kher, humne aapka dil dukhaya iske liye maafi chahenge. kyaaa kehte hein
munshiji aise maukon par...
Munshi: bade be-aabru hoke hum tere kuuche se nikle...
AB : haaan. chaliye munshiji..
Me : theheriya..
AB : kahiye..
Me : baithiye..
AB : kamaal hai munshiji, kabhi jaane ko kehti hein, to kabhi aane ko kehti hein,
haan kehiye.
Me : kya sunenge aap??
AB :(sarcastically) ab-bhi kuch sunaana baki reh gaya hai kya haa haaa... kher
hum to humecha sapnon ki duniya mein rahen hein, aapka bhi koi sapna ho to
sunaa dijiye aur phir dekhiye in haaton ka kamaal, hazaar taliyon ki guunj
na sunayi di, to hamara naam bhi vicki nahin..
