ANDOLAN?

HAS ANYONE SEEN ANDOLAN? I heard that it is not a good movie but because of
sentimental reasons towards sunju, it will be very popular. BTW, how did
the rumour start that Raveena was the heroine?

Yup, I saw Andolan yesterday and it sucked. The theme
they based the movie on was good but the fight sequences were bad.
C'mon yaar, the theme was Love India and Hate Violence.
All I saw in the movie was violence. I agree ministers,
policewallahs, and other government and non-govt corrupt ppl
should be given their proper dues but come up with some other stuff.
If u just come up with same ole shit in which hero (in this case 2 of 'em)
start killing and banging up on the gangsters, that's not gonna
stop anything. BTW, Govinda's role was quite refreshing and I am govinda
hater :)))
Anyways, I am not a Hindi film hater or India hater...In Fact, I am a
very patriotic guy but such films disgust me. There was nothing in there
that would make me think that there are other ways besides
violence to end the rule of corrupts in the country.
I know violence is bad. But what about those, who form
their opinions based on some movies and believe there
are lots of ppl out there who believe what they see
in movies is partially how life is and solutions
presented in the movie are the right ones.

I had the opportunity of seeing Andolan at Slough MGM over the weekend..
It was a special show atteneded by over 500...

Well, to be honest with you the film didn't really live up to all the
hipe...

It was more of a comedy than a thriller...

Sanjay as usual is pretty good...!!

This, for example, is a fine expose on "Andolan." But in retrospect, about
95% of it is about the MOVIE and about 5% is about the MUSIC. This is only
an example...

I say: let the lions come out of the cave and roar for the rec.Ind.movies
or whatever...

Andolan sucked big time!!!
Why were people making such a mountain out of a rock?
Another thing, what comedy? What thriller? The movie had nothing to it. I
tried to keep myself up while watching this thing, but I couldn't. Even
when everything was getting blown to pieces. By that time I hoped the
whole movie would be blown to pieces.
