Yes, "Ketaki Gulab Juhi" is based on Raga Basant.
The Devdas song is loosely based on Raga Paraj (very close to
Basant).. For more explanation on this, please look for an article by
Achyut Godbole in "Loksatta" dated March 23 (sunday).
