huu.N abhii mai.n jawaa.N (Aar Paar, 1954) - Correction in Lyrics

beautiful actresses, Shakila, transported me back to the black-and-
white era of classic films and equally classic music - an era I never
actually witnessed but hopelessly wish I did. This song 'huu.N abhii
mai.n jawaa.N' (Aar Paar, 1954) is the first link to my fascination
with Shakila, so I watched it on YouTube today after a long time - and
then a few more times repeatedly. I just cannot get enough of it.
The legendary Geeta Dutt is simply matchless in the song; I know only
she could have sung it:

Then I looked up its lyrics just to look in awe at its wonderful
poetry - and was disappointed by the shoddy transliteration work of
Rawat. But I am not surprised by the errors in the lyrics posted by
him - obviously he did not like the song. But that's another issue.

I don't think Rawat let his likes and dislikes affect the quality of
his transliteration: you will find similar problems in almost any
song
that he has submitted (and he has submitted a god-awful lot!).
Just one more *correction* and one more **addition**:
