Second version that I wasn't so far aware of, goes like:
mere mehboob ... mohabbat hogi
naam niklegaa tera hi lab se
jaan jab is dil-e-naakaam se rukhsat hogi
mere sanam ke dar se agar
baade sabaa ho teraa guzar
kahna sitamgar kuch hai khabar
jab tak bhi jiyaa, teraa naam liyaa
ai shamaa taraa parwaanaa
jisse abtak tujhe nafarat hogi
aaj ruswaa ...

I thnk the lyrics you have listd above is from the same song, except that
this particular stanza was cut out from the popular version which is
usually played on the redio. However, this song is also sung by Lata. I
have the tape to this song (from Mr. X in Bombay), but unfortunately, I
have lent it to a friend who at the moment is in India, so I cannot verify
the lyrics that you have written above. Although I am not a 100% certain
I think the lyricist is Majrooh.
This movie has many other songs by Lata and Kishore and I highly recommend
buying the tape.
Note: This song is not a duet, but is sung by Kishore and Lata separately.

I bought some batteries today...But they were not included...
..So I had to buy them again...

I'm quite sure it's "nadaan", not "naakaam".
