Yes there is atleast one more that I can think of:
Kabhii tanhaaiyon mein yuun hamaarii yaad aayegii...
listen to the line where she sings "Na tuu jii sakegaa aur naa tujhko maut
aayegii". It is a bad-dua if I ever heard one :-(
Then there are examples of hero's giving bad-duas to the heroines. Think of
"Meri Bheegi bheegi sii.... jale man tera bhii kisii ke milan ko ANAMIKA tuu bhi
tarse" and
"Mere dushman tuu meri dostii ko tarse...". The second one specially is full of
bad-duas
But U R right, most tend to portray the "Khush rahe tuu sadaa" kind of
sentiment.

This is a very intersting observation. It would be really intersting to have a
collection of such songs. Let's add as many as we can.
>>such songs where the heroine, instead of pitying her destiny and wishing
>>good for the hero, wishes him "insomnia" or something else of that

One song that I can think of is :
"Mere Mehboob qayamat hogi" : Take the line "Tuu bhi kisi se pyaar kare, aur
rahe woh tujhse pare"
One thing is for sure that there would be very few such songs by the heroines,
certainly not Meena Kumari or Asha Parekh.
Vaguely remember the film and the song. The "Juari" is a verrry young
looking Shashi Kapoor. One of the heroines is Ameeta, IIRC. Shashi is
walking away from a life where he is not very sure of what he wants,
except that this is not it. And there are three women who are hankering
after his love. There is a tinge of jealousy in their lamentation, and
their curses. Again IIRC, the song ends with all three women/singers
singing the refrain together at the end and the screen is split into
three frames one with each of the sobbing heroines...

Remember what is probably the most famous MB song from HYA? what about the
lines "yeh bijali raakh kar jaayegi tere pyaar ki duniya. na phir tu jii
sakega aur na tujhko maut aayegi" isn't that a curse enough?

Thanks for the song. A really nice song, and one that will warm the
cockles of Ashok's heart too, for it features some of our less
represented voices on RMIM. Vijay
