I mean the judge, who heard the case and not Judge Ragu Nath (Prithvi Raj
Kapoor)

p.s.: posting this query on behalf of my shagird, Mr. Gagan Deep 'Khargosh'

Thanks

That role was played by Basheshar Nath Kapoor, father of Prithviraj
Kapoor. (I may be incorrect on the middle name, thogh.) That was
perhaps the first time a son, his father and grandfather were together
in one film. {Later, in Kal Aaj Aur Kal, it was Prithviraj Kapoor,
Raj Kapoor, and Randhir Kapoor.}

Happy Listenings.

Actually daboo (Randhir) is seen playing with a dog near a lamp post in
the credits. So, one more generation!

You are right Prof.Sahib.

AFIK Prithviraj's father served in Judicial
Service, mostly serving in Punjab.
He had a house in Lahore as well as in
Murree( hill station near Islamabad).
