Hindi and Bangla Songs with Same Music

I recently got hold of a couple of Bangla songs by Salil Da, where the
music is same as in Hindi songs. These are:
Na Jeo Na (O Sajna Barkha Bahar aayi)
Na Mono Laage Na ( Na Jiya Lage Na)

I do not know whether he had composed these tunes for Bangla songs
first and then used them for hindi songs or vice-versa.

These are just amazing tracks and lack of knowledge of Bangla was no
barrier in enjoying these songs. Though I know there are many more
songs in Bangla like these by both Salil Da and SD Burman, but am
finding it difficult to get these. Can someobdy help me with some
pointers to pre-recorded albums or bangla lyrics of similar songs...

If you want to listen to these songs, please let me know. I'll upload
these.

Apart from Salil Choudhury and S.D. Burman, there are quite a number of
R.D.Burman songs as well. The Bengali songs were usually released at PUJA
time (Durga Puja)to be followed by Hindi versions in Hindi films.

Yes, actually forgot to mention RDB. In fact, there is an album:
Pancham Beats, which has commentary by RDB, Gulzar and Asha Bhosle.
There are two such songs which he refers to:
1. Abke na sawan barse: it is based on a private song composed by SDB.
I could not make out the bangla lyrics. RDB jockingly says, "baap ka
maal uthaya hai".
2. Tere Bina Zindagi Se: Based on a Puja song composed by RDB, which
goes something like: Jeete jeete... asha chhadi ni.. (can somebody
tell what the exact lyrics are and the meaning?). This time Gulzar
says that he used quite a few puja songs composed by RDB.

SDB's 'manmor huva matvala' is similar to Ravindranath Tagor's song
'she din du jone.Many Ravindra songs have been used in Hindi
films(Dr.J.P.Guha can provide the list).
Ravindra sangget is under copyright and Film "Yugpurush' was punished
for using Rvindra sangeet.

HMV released a 2-CD set called "ek sur dui gaan" which has pairs of
songs with same tune in Hindi and Bangla. MDs covered are SalilC, SDB,
RDB and Hemant. They are very representative and popular choices
though. There are hundreds more such songs.

The song is not MAN MOR HUA MATWALA butNAINA DIWANE EK NAHIN MANE from
Afsar. The tune is the same as SEDIN DUJANE.
Rabindra Sangeet is not under copyright protection any more. However,
several such songs have been used for Hindi films by Pankaj Mallick,
Hemant Kumar and S.D. Burman.
