I heard a song from the classic Baiju Bawara "O Duniya Ke rakhwale,
Sun dard Bhare mere nale....."
I just wanted to know what rag is Based on.
Might be i felt thta it is darbari Kanada,But I am not sure.
In any case please tell me what is the Aroh-Avaroh of the rag.

Darbari it is. Ghulam Ali's famous "Hangama hai kyoN barpa" is another
piece based on the same raag as is, I think, "Raadhike tuuneN bansarii
churaaii".

The ragam of that song is darbari kanada, as you felt. The
arohanam/avarohanam is SRPG,,MDNS / SNPMG,,MRS (kharaharapriya janyam, I
think), but I don't know how to describe it any further.

i believe what you are describing here is closer to the carnatic
"darbaar" than darbari kanada. the latter is a janyam of carnatic
natabhairavi, and is approximately SRgMPdnS, SdnPgMRS (no punctuation
et. al included).
