"Ti geli tevha rimjhim, paauss ninaadat hota"

info about this song was requested by rajan parrikar.
the lyrics were posted some days ago, so i won't bother.

music director: hridaynath
singer: hridaynath
film: nivdung
starring: ravindra mankani, archana joglekar.

incidently this movie has a unique song (sung on different
occasions by asha bhosle and padmaja fenani-joglekar -- this
song ("Na manogo to doongi tumhe gaari re") is unique in the
sense that the first line is in hindi, second in marathi,
und so weiter.

btw, the song "ti geli tevha rimjhim" by hridaynath is (one of)
the his best compositions he has ever sung...(IMO)

This song could be unique in that sense, but its tune is not! It is in Rag
Malkauns. He must have taken it from some well known Bandish because I was
pleased to hear it in the voice of Pt.Jasaraj.

Hrdayanath many times tunes Marathi Songs to old bandishes. The another one is
`dayAghanA, kA tuTale chimaNe gharaTe' in Rag Poorvi. That is one of his best t
oo and he has sung it himself ( Suresh Wadkar has also sung it). Other one that
comes to mind is 'yA phulAnchyA gandhakoshi'. 'tI gelI tevhA' is also a very
good poetry.
