Is there a website that provides translations of Kirthanas written by
the Big Three, in particular Thyagaraja? I fell in love with Sudha
Raghunathan's rendition of Kalyani Raga Kirthana "Etha Unnara" and
want to know its meaning.

Also, can someone tell me who composed the Krithi "Sundari Nee
Divyarupamu.."? Is this piece composed in honor of Parvathi or
Lakshmi? I have a bet going with a colleague that this can not be
Thyagaraja's creation since it is on Devi. If it is Thyagaraja, then I
would be surprised if this is directed towards Parvathi. Although the
name Thyagaraja indicates that he was a Smartha (not a Madhva as all
photos show him to be) since Thyagaraja is a name of Lord Shiva.

Thanks in advance.

Indeed, both songs are by Tyagaraja.

Which is your place of abode? You are not easily to be found, however
closely you are searched for. Is it in the feminine forms of the deity like
Sita, Gauri and Sarasvati or is it among the five elements of earth, water,
fire, air and ether or in the immeasurable worlds or among the triniy? (from

Meaning:
Mother Tripurasundari! I have had the unique previlege and blessing of the
glance at your devine form. Is it the result of your gracious glance or my
worship of you in my past births?
When the wise Brahma and other celestials, having heard of your ravishingly
divine beauty, throng in the heavens for your darshana, I, as a humble soul,
had the blessing and the bliss of your darshana on the sacred Friday.
I wonder to which merit of mine I owe this. In this kaliyuga whenever there
is an assembly I will declare that only you can protect the humble. You are
an ocean of compasion, full of virtuous attributes. Who can outclass you?
Arriving here tired and fatigued, I was wondering if I could have peace of
mind. To my surprise, on this Friday, sacred to you, when celestial damsels
come in never ending rows to bow to you, I had the fortune of obtaining your
darshana.
You are the mother who loves me. Only today, the purpose of my life has
been achieved by me. Like one steeped in extreme poverty suddenly landing
on a treasure, like plants fading in the field, suddenly being relieved and
refreshed by a shower, as if my eyes had been blessed, I was gifted with
your darshana.
Sister of Shrinatha! One who fascinates Tyagaraja,, I am incapable of
gratitude to meet this gesture of yours. (from T.K.Govinda Rao's book)

O Raghava! Where is the need fto conceal yourself? The universe itself is
your form with the sun and the moon as your eyes.
By deep contemplation, enquiry and search I have perceived that you are
Everything and Everything is within you. There is, therefore no place in my
mind for any other God. I solicit your protection.

One of the BEST sites I have found for all thyagaraja keerthanas is the one hosted by Sri V Govindan - It is
http://thyagaraja-vaibhavam.blogspot.com/2009/03/tyagaraja-kritis-alphabetical-list.html

Sri V Govindan has done extraordinary service to the music community by hosting all known krithis, lyrics in various languages, meanings, and what not.
While on this topic, I also found Sri V Govindan's compilation of Shyamasastry and Mutthuswamy dikshitar compositions... See below
