A. K. C. Natarajan is quite a famous Carnatic classical clarinet player.
I have seen many others play it, but can't think of anyone as popular.

There is a person who plays Clarinet in Bangalore. It takes the role of
the Nadhaswaram. He is quite a popular artiste for weddings, etc but his
name escapes me although he did play for my brother's wedding.

There is a guy named Kamble who plays Hindustani Music on clarinet. He
is very good. He has recorded at least one cassette in which he plays
fabulous Marubihag, starting with the tune of 'tuma to pyaara ho, sajanii'.
Unfortunately he does not seem to be famous...:-(
