There is this particular composition sung by MLV which i am desperately looking
for. The lyrics are "Yamanennu Kanennru Helu beda, Yamane SriRamanenru
Sandega Beda". The composition is in Kannada and the lyrics are absolutely
gorgeous. I had heard this in India (this past summer on TV) but havent been
able to get a recording of it. I would appreciate any help in obtaining
a recording of this song.

This is what I have for this song. A Kannada speaking person will need
to fix it up no doubt but it is a start. MLV used to sing a nice sloka
before this piece also which begins with "Anayu karadarE AdimUla bandandE"

These are mostly fixes by a Kannada speaking person. I have
heard this composition and must agree it's gorgeous. Recently
listened to 'yaakE nirdhayanadhEyo HariyE' (another Kannada
composition) rendered by Sudha Raghunathan. Really marvellous.

I agree. I have heard it by her mentor only (MLV), and it is exceptional.
It would be nice if someone could post the text of `yAkE...' with
translation and indications on the music. I think it goes on:
`Srikanta ennamElE eLLishTu dayavilla...' or something like this
(feel free to correct my KannaDa).
