and charanam of the following song - a composition of Neelakantha
Sivan in Ragam Bowli

Ambhuja sambavanum - one who was born in lotus (Brahma)
Anbaana Maayavanum - the lovable Vishnu
Adi Mudi Kaana, Nedumalai Vaana - refers to the purana episode of
Brahama and Vishnu could not find the feet (adi) and
the crown (Mudi) of Shiva, Nedumalai (Kailasa)
Akhila Bhuvana paripaala - one who protects the universe (all worlds)
Sakala Varaguna Vishaala - one who personifies all the fine qualities

Ariyen, chinnam chiriyen - I am an ignorant small child
Unakhanantham Dandanitten - I salute you many times
Aparathangal muzhuthum Kshamitharulvai - forgive all my sins
Kai Kumbitten - I worship you with folded hands
Parivaai Un Sol Kanavil Kandu -after listening to your grace in my dream
Pizhaikkum Vazhi Thotten - learned the way to live
Pethaiyakilum Un Paatham Paniyum - though I am a naive ignorant person
('pethai'), let me worship your feet,
Perukiya bhavavinai theerum - please remove the growing earthly sins
Guru parane, Karunai kan paarum - My Lord and teacher, bestow your

I have written the lyrics slightly different from what you have
typed, basically correcting for the appropriate tamil word in
context.

This song is in praise of Shiva, in simple Tamil poetry - very
similar to the lyrics of Papanasam Sivan.
