Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar is recognized as one of the top vocalists of her generation. She began her training with Late Pandit Vasantrao Kulkarni of the Agra Gwalior gharanas, and has subsequently received training from the greats Srimati Kishori Amonkar (Jaipur Atrauli gharana), Pandit Dinkar Kaikini (Agra) and Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar (Gwalior). A favourite of the concert circuit, Arati-ji has performed at all prestigious conferences such as Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav (Pune) and the Dover Lane Festival (Kolkata), and has performed extensively in the US, Canada, UK and UAE.
Praveen Sheolikar is an exceptionally talented violinist steeped in the gayaki-ang. He hails from a family with a rich musical tradition having started his training at the age of 9 under his grandfather Pt. Rambhau Sheolikar of Raipur, and subsequently under the guidance of his father Pt. Vasantrao Sheolikar. Praveen has performed extensively throughout India and abroad in prestigious music conferences. He is an ‘A’ Grade artist of AIR.
