How many years did Shyne get?
What's the best Mobb Deep album?
Who has a lot of east coast shit on cdr who wants to do some heavy

I might get a job for working for OPD (shut up, just shut the fuck up)

on that note:
I saw punk-ass Mayor Moonbeam yesterday morning taking his usual jog.
I hadn't seen him since 9/11 and I usually see him at least three
times a week. So get this, the mothafucka used to run alone, now he's
got a police attack dog escort! Coincidence? Yeah Jerry, you're all
fuckin important like that that terrorists are gonna come after you?
Gimme a break...
so i laughed at him. I hadn't done that in at least two months and it
felt good (laughing in the mayor's face when he jogs by). I stopped
doing it, cause I thought he was gettin' a little scared the last
couple of times, and I didn't want him to point me out or some shit...
shit, he should be laughin' at me, I voted for his ass, first time I
voted since Proposition Eaches, and how does he repay me?
Fuckin' up my town AND saltin' out all the Raider supporters in city

The Nastradamus bootlegs on A-L's ftp are off the hook, and I can't
ftp no more and that shit's on my computer at home with the broken
monitor and I can't even listen to the shit...
so get that shit if you like NAS
it kinda sounds like his old style to me, but over west-coastish
looped samples (back when we used to do such things)
Has anyone else noticed that all my posts pretty much have SUCKED

It's funny, cause all you guys seem different too, like different

I WISH I FUCKING COULD. But in 2 weeks, I haven't been able to get on for
more than 2 minutes. Fucking LEECHES!
Oh wait, that's what I want to do too.
But seriously, if I ever DO get on there, I can up the Ras album too.

what you mean "take care of"? You take them to your house and
halfway-house them? or you execute them? i fuckin hate fight dog

something i've been meaning to say but don't wanna create a new post
on:
east coast commercial hip-hop heads should feel ashamed for their
artists jocking the west coast so bad.... Shyne w/ bad boyz, Fabolous,
Lil Mo and Mary J.....CORNBALLS.
The only one out there doing it right is Jay-Z. He still maintains
his own identity while fa-shizzlin' all the way to the biz-ank!
(mtv2 is showing old videos... paid in full, roxanne roxanne, around
the way girl, symphony) and the pistola on smphony wasn't even
blurred.

This is a near rhetorical question. If you haven't answered The Infamous,
then you've answered wrong.
really? What do you think of Hell On Earth?
I only have The Infamous and Hell On Earth, and Infamous is doper. The beats
are ill as fuck, this is another slept-on joint.

Great album. Not a fall off. Just not as strong as Infamous.
Its like when Infamous came out, it was like a new sound, something never
done before. They pretty much revolutionized the whole East Coast Thug Rap
style with that album. The production was brilliant. There was no soft spots
on the album.
Hell on Earth. More filler. Just a continuation of Infamous.

thanks for stopping after hell on earth, it's only gone downhill. but i
don't konw about the infamous being slept on (though it was much better than
hell on earth, which is still dope in its own right), i know it at least
went gold. what's the sales figure definition of "slept on"?
peace,
suave
For a major label artist, probably under 300K. For an large indie
label, under 10K. For a small indie label, under 1K (some don't
even print that much, which is why it's always an uphill battle).

Well by slept on, I meant that it usually doesn't get mentioned with the other
'great albums'. And while it may not be in the same realm as Illmatic or
Bizarre Ride, it's pretty close.
not arguing... I don't own either... I was just asking because alot of people
I've talked to have told me Hell On Earth is their best and you basically said
something to the effect of it being an undisputed fact... kinda curious cuz I
been thinkin of getting hell on earth
simply a matter of opinion of course. infamous not in the same realm as
illmatic? i agree, infamous is definitely the better album. the production
at the very least is solid all the way through, and though illmatic may have
the upper hand lyrically, in contrast to its wack beats (admittedly, i feel
more comfortable saying this since ksg) prodigy and havoc are still quite
enjoyable in comparison. bizzare ride on the other hand i agree with.
While I do agree, Murda Muzik is definitely nowhere near as bad as some people
say it is. It's a good album. Some of my favorite Mobb songs are on that
joint(Quiet Storm, Streets Raised Me, Where's Your Heart At, The Realest).
Back to the original poster, as far as I'm concerned, Hell On Earth is the
best Mobb album. It was the introduction of the Mobb's signature sound. The
Infamous is tight and probably more complete, but it kinda sounds like
something that any couple of street toughs with skills could've made. Hell On
Earth has way more personality. It sets them up as an individual act. Hell On
Earth is where Havoc became Havoc behind the boards, and when we got a real
taste of "the dun lingo". But that's just me . . .
Da 5th Venom
dude, I'm not in the mafia, lol. yeah, I "take care of them", take um

no, feed, clean up doo-doo, and attempt to appropriately segregate
them so they don't kill each other. oh, I fuck with other misc.
animals as they come up, mostly cats but we got the occasional racoons
up in this town too.

yeah, that sucks. some people are just plain cruel. anyway, the
"rejects" are all over oakland, espec. the westside, I mean you can
drive around and see these injured pits and rots. those are the guys
I'll be feeding, etc. (if I get this job, I met another computer tech
the other day, he just got a job as a shift manager at KFC and he was
happy as fuck, it's rough out here right now) I don't know a lot yet,
but I suspect a bunch of them will be getting the "big sleep", if you
know what I mean. Thankfully, I won't be doing that, and I'm hoping
that they let us salvage some of them (that aren't completely insane
and/or dangerous) and put them in an animal shelter or something.

notice any more...

I need to hear that new one, it's gotta be SOMETHING, if this many
people love it/hate it.

I tried to watch Rap Shitty yesterday, Ghostface was on wearing a
terrycloth bathrobe. HAAA, my boy Mackadacious wore a bathrobe to
the Gavins about 8 years ago, that's old. he had a 64 OZ Olde E in
each pocket, it was sick (my boy, not Ghost)

BULLSHIT!
Infamous sounds like something that any street toughs with skills could've
made. I personally haven't heard any other albums like Infamous in my
lifetime, and there are probably *thousands* of street toughs with skills
out there. Why is there such a discreptancy?
Hell on Earth has "way more personality"? Fuck that. I don't think you can
get more personality then on Infamous. An album that defines their sound,
their style, their production, etc. I don't think I won any rawer albums,
where two cats wear their hardcore labels so prevelantely on their
foreheads.
Havoc did a large proportion of the production on Infamous. What are you
talking about when you say that Hell on Earth is where Havoc became Havoc
behind the boards?
And as for the first taste of 'dun lingo' maybe if you actually listened to
Infamous before you commented on it you wouldn't have said something so
stupid.
Your review was utter garbage, but thats just my opinion.
