of the two guyz, before buying one or another record.

But watch out for the rebel ins, that's gonna be the best yet, as soon
as it comes out
My vote goes to Raekwon. I liked Meth's album, but it seemed it was rushed.
Fuck his CD, get his LP... wait, then you don't get Harlem
World... ahhh never mind.

Raekwon - he raps about the g's: guns and grams
Ghostface Killa - he got kind of a Raekwon-ish style
U-God - He is so ill, he don't get much verses on any albums, tho
Ol Dirty - He is RAW. "I been on welfare since I came out my mama's pussy."
Method Man - He is smooth, with a tight delivery
Inspeckta Deck - he flows quick, with good lyrics, one of da best!!
Masta Killa - He is on some medical-type shit, but he is good
Gza - one of the best lyricists of all time, phat lyrics!!!
Rza - he is one of my favorite Clan members, very nice shit...
Peace, Chris...................
Uhhh, don't they all seem a bit rushed? I mean, 6 albums in 2.5 years?
I'm all for talented musicians putting out LOTS of quality music, but I
think RZA and all the other producers are just saturating the market with
a lot of poor shit to take advantage of the Wu's temporary popularity,
which in my opinion, is unfounded.
-Joshua Saul
When you play Meths album, the music is louder than his voice. Thats why I said it sounded a bit
rushed. Also if RZA can produce 6 albums in 2.5 years, more power to him. Are you sayin' that
Rae's, Ol Dirty's and GZA'a album were not quality music?
Peace

Out of the four solo Wu albums, I have 3. Those would be Method Man,
Raekwon featuring Ghost Face and Ol' Dirty Bastard.
Method Man's lyrics are really versatile. He never rhumes about just one
thong on his album. It can switch from talkin' about his girlfriend in
"All I Need" to braggin' about himself in "I Get My Thang In Action". All
in all, the album is on point with the beats and lyrics. There is one
song on the album that I cannot stand which is "Sub Crazy". It sounds mad
rushed and the beat is just real bad to me. Beside that, the album is
nice to have in your collection.
Raekwon and Ghost Face's album are ideal if you are into the lyrical drug
dealin' / mafioso / jewelry buyin' type atmosphere that dominates right
now. That is not what is the content of every single joint, but most of
it is. But that is not what made it one of the best albums of 1995. It
is the fact that EVERY SINGLE BEAT on the album was butta. The Rza pulled
no stops on this one. Some of the gems on that album are "Wu Gambinos",
"Criminology" and "Spot Rusherz". I don't know if it has reached
"classic" status yet, but it is a MUST to own.

The best solo album in my opinion is GZA/Genius
Liquid Swords. The lyrics in this album out do the
rest. Infact, this is one of my favorite CDs of all
time. This album defines what rap and its lyrical
style is all about. My favorite tracks are
"Shadowboxin", "4th Chamber", "Duel of the Iron Mic",
"Liquid Swords", and "BIBLE".
The thing that really hits me about this album is its
deep lyrics. "..so deep its picked up on radios in
tunnels" (Gza).
THIS is a definite get.
Sorry but my ballot goes to Lou Diamonds.... Those linxs were way
to tight for me....
I dunno, Gza had the lyrics, Raekwon, I listened to that sooo much when
I got it but Rae & Ghost say a lot of stuff, but they got no deep
lyrics like "...strictly bass on keyboards, unbalanced like elephants
and ants on see-saws." - Gza.
This is how I rate 'em:
1. Gza
2. Raekwon
3. Ol' Dirty
4. Method Man (mr. sandman was DA BOMB tho!!!)
Peace _CHRIS于
