"The Bridge Pt. II" featuring MC Shan, Mobb Deep, Nas, and KRS.
"Who You Calling a Bitch?" featuring Foxxy Brown, Lil Kim, and Brandy
might show that Lil Kim and Foxxy actually have something to say and
hopefully it'll make a statement on the rampant and casual use of the "B"
word in hip-hop lyrics.
"Live at the Barbeque PT. II" is another hot joint coming featuring Xtra
P, Nas, Smooth, and Trigga.
Plus Tupac and Biggie have a track called "Keep the Faith" (what a
title!!! maybe they decided to share her, LOL). That joint should be hot.
"East Coast vs. West Coast" featuring Biggie, Mobb Deep, KRS, Ice Cube,
Tupac, and the Dogg Pound. Personally, I think Ras Kass would have better
represented the West and Organized Konfusion would have better represented
the East, but they chose the big names over the big talents (that's why
they call it "show BUSINESS", I guess. I wonder why they bother adding the
"show" part at all.)
Then, of course, in the June issue of the Source, Dre talks about his
"East Coast Killa, West Coast Killa" song featuring Nas, King Tee, KRS,
and RBX. Would have been nice if Ras was on that one, too, but oh well.
Damn, 96 may be the greatest year hip-hop has ever seen...
