This is the craziest shit I ever seen. A Fan (Stan) hired a PI to
STALK rapper Canibus. His home phone, address, were discovered but
won't be posted on the internet for obvious reasons. A couple
unreleased tracks dating back to the Can-I-Bus days are also in
possession of the PI.

It can be summed up as the following:

The investigator searched Atlanta, GA and the Fort Lewis, WA area for
Canibus. He located Canibus in Fort Lewis, WA living under the name
Basil Williams. This is the same name Canibus had on his Gold Record
plaque. Here is some of the information the PI found out:

1.) Canibus' real name is Basil Williams, not Germaine Williams. He
has been going by Germaine, his middle name, since high school.

2.) Mr. Basil Williams is 28 years old, not 26 as he claims.

3.) He is dating an Asian woman.

4.) Canibus' net worth is approximately $250,000. He earns
approximately $150,000 per annum. Canibus doesn't make nearly as much
as he claims in his songs.

5.) Canibus disbanded C4 after the poor reception of CTHS.

6.) Basil Williams holds dual Canadian-US citizenship.

7.) There wasn't a rapper named Pakman. Pakman was one of Canibus'
"alter-egos."

8.) All the voices (minus Lou and Pakman) on CTHS were done by
Canibus.

9.) Mr. Williams was honorably discharged from the Army in March,
2004.

10.) Canibus drives a minivan. The cars in the Micclub pictures belong
to other rappers in the Washington/British Columbia area.

11.) Lou and Canibus have not had any contact in the past 6 months.
The PI is unsure if they still work together or not.

Not to be too picky here but doesn't this seem like a contradiction? 7 says
Pakman is Canibus where as 8 says Pakman isn't Canibus's voice...

If I cared enough I'd try to make it make sense... but I don't coz I
couldn't care less if he's got beef with LL still (which no doubt will make
up the majority of his next album...)

This info is about as useful as the info that the janitor pulled together on
Billy Madison. Why would somebody pay a PI for this shit??

This is a Hollywood given. My friends who audition knock a few years off their
age because casting directors actually add them back on in their head (so if a
girl says she's 23, they figure 25 etc...)

Wasn't there a news story claiming that C Zeta Jones was like 6 or 7 years
older??

Pakman actually toured in London with Canibus. But now we find out
he's not a rapper, but just an actor hired by Canibus to fufill
Canibus' alter ego. All of Pakman's lines were written by Canibus.
According to the PI anyway.

I know, I know, it's damn odd and a shock to the Hip Hop world.

I'm sure the Hip-Hop world will never get over such dramatic revelations!

I can see the headlines now 'Average rapper hires actor to be alter-ego'....

ghostwriting is not a shock to anybody that knows anything about rap.

not only that, dude is claiming he knew the PI from high school and dude did it
as a favor...yet on the PI's written files, you can see clearly he asks for
more fees for further investigation on certain things...

the motherfucker who did that, on the real, is a straight stan on the next
level. if i was canibus, id hire a PI to track that fool down and then go send
someone to shoot that nigga straight in fucking his knee caps. thats some
serious type shit. this nigga now knows both of his adresses, know he may have
a crib in canada, knows where his parents are at...fuck that shit.

News of this has been spreading quick on the message boards. His home
phone number was posted, and we're told a female (possible his mother)
is picking up. That's just wrong -- The Stan posted the zip code along
with the four digit shit at the end. He also posted the area code and
the first three digits of the number but blocked out the last four...
it diddn't take long for some ass to figure out the last four digits
and post it on the net.

This is almost too weird to believe. Shit like this might happen to Eminem,
Beyonce, Brittany Spears, or someone of that celebrity caliber. I'm having
a hard time believing that someone would care enough about a half assed
rapper to take the initiative to dig up relatively useless info. Has
anyone been arrested?? Does anyone else think this "Stan" might be one of
his alter-egos begging to get more publicity to Canibus' name?

Maybe. It could be another publicity stunt like Second Round K.O.

dude, alot of rappers have a serious cult following. believe me, canibus is one
of them.

personally for myself, i go through canibus stages...every once in awhile, all
i'll listen to is canibus for like 3 days straight and think he's the illest
and then go back to normal. his stuff has no replay value. but dude had a MEAN
delivery. dude raps with straight fury in every song. i think dude has
something personal against canibus cause he's arab or some shit and not too
happy about the lyrics in the song "draft me"

dude still needs to be shot in his knee caps

Ya, Canibus is ill. Poet Laruate II is one of the greatest hip-hop
songs ever created.

Looks like Canibus and Eminem have finally battled. Here is a uncut
recorded track which has just begun circulating on IRC, shit is hot,
crative and witty.
