Literally, it means "Our Scar," must I think it's just Rae fuckin wit ya.
"La Cosa Nostra" is the name of the Italian Mafia, meaning "Our Thing."

It means "our thing" which was the name of a drug ring in the 1930's
Yeah...and to correct you guys the correct spelling is La Cosa
Nostra. I don't know why Rae yelled "costra".
It was funny, because I had just finished listening to "Wu Gambinos"
when we had to go the school library for freshman orientation class. They
gave us some ditto on how the college library works. The ditto gave an
example and used organized crime as an example an right there it said La
Cosa Nostra. I was like "Oh shit...Raekwon just said that!"

Yeah, "our thing" in Italian. The cosa nostra was a lot like the mafia,
only it was born further north than Sicily (there are mafias with
different names all over the place in "the Old Country"). It probably
still exists there somewhere, only the Mafia gets a lot more publicity.

It doesn't mean Jack in Spanish. Our thing in la cosa nuestra. This is
either latin or an inside joke.
: or is that "Cosa Nostra" ??
