Neal Young & Crazy Horse rocked ACL Music Festival last night. I
could only watch a few songs because I had to catch a ride, but it
looked like he was on top of his game. The "Rust Never Sleeps" Neal
showed up - rather than the doddering post-stroke "Prairie Wind"
Neal. He played a few old songs like "Powderfinger", and some I
didn't recognize, but none of the "Coming Around the Mountain" crap,
unless he did those after I left.
So if you are questioning whether to see him on his current tour, if
you are a rocker-Neal fan, definitely go.
Steve Earle also played a great set. I was able to get a lot closer
to the stage for that.

1973) that sound great, but before the bass can feedback, they start

We are having an absolute blast on tour playing such fine, fine music- a
blessing for all. The band headlined three excellent festivals on this tour
including Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (with Keller Williams and Kyle
Hollingsworth), Joshua Tree Roots Festival and Bend Fall Festival. It was
wonderful to be back playing in the MidWest, Pac NW, Vancouver and
California!
Today, we are at a home away from home for Kimock music...COLORADO! There
is something for all, so come on out folks and shake it with funk legend
Bernie Worrell and our montrous rhythm section, featuring Andy Hess and
Wally Ingram..
The tour kicks off TONIGHT in Carbondale at PAC3. We were on-air live today
for a live acoustic set and chat at WDNK 88.1FM in Carbondale.
Tomorrow we head to Fort Collins to play the Aggie Theatre, and this
weekend the band plays the only two-night run of the tour in Denver, CO at
the Oriental Theater, with special guests.
Event passes and TICKETS still available.
