Well this administration seems likes it's lasting forever

Been dead for a while now, just a few of us.

Funny thing is, the Facebook rmgd that everyone went to is not exactly buzzing either.

There was something about Usenet rmgd.

In other news, the Phil show at Frost June 4 was quite awesome. Scofield on guitar, oh yeah.

It’s just one spoke in a wider Deadhead ecosystem over there. FB is just
the incidental medium. Worth it, all things considered.

Agreed. Where else would you come across such detritus, present company (to
this point in this thread) excepted?

Around here, you generally can’t see detailed, multimedia-keyed discussions
or postings on any given GD (or other) musical tangents, (or or or)
real-time live streams, videos and recordings, posted by attendees, etc.,
etc., etc…

rmgd had everything, good and bad. It mirrored the Dead scene. Warts and all.

How true, 100%.

Those were the days, my friend and I miss 'em. Later on it was Booie and his showerheads.

Mary Hopkin - Those Were The Days - 1968

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3KEhWTnWvE

Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And dreamed of all the great things we would do

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...

Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la...

Just tonight I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely woman really me

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la...

Through the door there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la...

We lived it, baby! We don’t need no stinkin’ Hollywood characterization by
some squirt who wasn’t even alive during the prime touring years!

I'll wait 'til it's streaming on Tubi, which, may not be all that long a wait.
Up next the Mungo Jerry biopic starring Lenny Kravitz. We're working our way through the Jerrys.

I get what you guys are saying, but with Scorsese on board, I am hoping for something decent, assuming it ever actually happens.
