They've got all the jam bands' cds, live tapes (though no Phish, because of
their rules), clothes, books, you name it. Check it out – it's definitely
one of my favorite stores.

HA HA....get your facts straight before you make comments like this....go to
their web page and you will find out that...certain bands LET THEM and give
PERMISSION for them to sell the tapes....And they no longer sell Phish
tapes...which is reason why most people say stuff about the store....ex "phish
heads"
Besides, they high-speed dub their tapes and they sound like shit. My friend
bought TONS of tapes at Prime Cuts, and then asked ME for upgrades on each and
every one of em. ('Cept of course the Phish tapes cuz he knows I didnt have any
of them) <grin>
But Prime Cuts does sell neat "other stuff."

Absolutely correct! They sell what has to be the most expensive
"blanks" in the US.

Also true.

Yeah, at prices that'll make your ears bleed :-)

Otherwise, please do not support those who sell tapes -- with or without
"permission." In this context, all "permission" means is a deal with the artist
in question. Luckily, Phish, as you point out, has not stooped to the level of
making such a deal. Nor, to my knowledge, has GDP.

ps. I tried to find their web page but couldn't -- URL?
Bongs?? For tobacco only, though.

I feel for ya, man. Try to do people a favor... oh, well.
Maybe this will mean something to 'em:
Mark informed me that two (maybe all three now) of
the Phil and Friends, with Zen Trickster folks Jeff Mattson and
Rob Barraco are available, compliments of Mark, at Prime Cuts.
Also, keep in mind, ya might be able to get some fresh Dead
while you're waiting for your latest trade to come through.

Not that I`d know or anything but.... ; )
THE best place on LI for these "tobacco waterpipes", IMO, is Rips `N` Tears on
Hempstead Turnpike right across from Nassau Coliseum. The bongs ain`t cheap but
it`s just about all Jerome Baker Designs ...High quality wonderful glass..I
dropped $150 last time I was there.....no regrets would be an understatement...

excuse if he spoke in his native tongue, and after the fashion of his

of the truth of my words....."
