A better question. Who the hell knows where this rumor started? From a
conspiracy theorist obviously. One of my neighbors just starting going at
length with me the other day about how Joseph Smith, L. Ron Hubbard, The
Freemasons, The Beatles. Jerry Garcia, The Illuminate, aliens and other
secret societies are all part of a big cover-up and grand scheme. Do you
think my neighbor might be a bit paranoid? *LOL*

Well. . . the CIA was the first to dose Kesey, and there was speculation that
they wanted to dose college boys, expose them to the images of the war on the
evening news hoping that the imppresionability that LSD caused would have them
eager to fight for their country. After that failed the govt. outlawed LSD
but not before they bought 2 KILOS of it from Sandoz. Most of the street acid
outside of the Bay Area was supposed to have been from CIA sources. As Stuart
Brand pointed out,"Simple paranoia enables you to understand. Creative
paranoia enables you to predict". There is more truth in those words than most
care to acknowledge. . .

I went to the website called TheSmokingGun (Thier a conspiracy theory
site) and looked around they did'nt have anythingdealing with Jerry& the
CIA but they did list his total assets in documents pertaining to Mt
Girl & Deb Koons

You guys ahve got it all wrong. Jerry was the foil. The real operative was
Dan Healy. He was the one who put the "black cassette" into the player that
fed the subliminal messages to the crowd during DRUMZ/SPACE. The messages to
consume, be peaceful, don't resist authority in a meaningful way, stay calm,
etc. You ALL remember THAT don't you . . . unless you didn't have the regression
therapy like the rest of us. . .oops never mind. Just go about your business. .
"these aren't the droids your looking for". . .

Uh oh.... You folks are coming perilously close to making me
spout the theories about why the world-wide satellite feeds
happened on so many New Year Eves... Yes, it was for coded and
subliminal messages during space and drums... but not to the
