How about: grow your own, donate some to your favorite local artist,
get high as a kite and go check out some art. The stuff is not all bad.

What has transportative powers far beyond the effects of marijuana?
What stimulates your mind and your imagination rather than dulls them?
What can freak you out or fill you with joy, and yet isn't bad for your lungs?
What can create an emotional impact that can last for generations rather than
just a few hours?

The answer, of course, is art.

So who deserves your dollar more: the grower of dope or the person who pours
his/her soul and hard work into his/her creations and struggles hard to even
get them to be seen and recongnized by the general world?

You guys are a powerful market. Support artists, not drug dealers.
Thanks for your time...

I buy lots of art, but I only do it when I'm stoned on grass. It is then
that my senses are focused on the beauty of the world. Buy pot, it helps
artists.

Hum! Growing GOOD pot is an art also, and the plant itself is a work
of Art:-) :-) :-)

So what is ART?

And read "The Painted Word" by Thomas Wolfe if you wish to learn more
about how to get seen and recognized by the world of ART.

Jerry must have read it:-) :-) :-)

I can just see it now:

"Welcome to the Coliseum, folks! Men please go to the line on the left to
be searched, women to the right. Hey, what's this? A painting? You can't
bring a painting into a show!"

I'm not against art at all, and I'm not even against this post, because it was
not a flame. Advertisement maybe, but not a flame, so I can respect that.

However, Ethan, you're aiming at the wrong sector of the Dead population. You
need to be out in the parking lot at shows if you want to reach the appropriate
portion of the Dead scene. Most of us have jobs and lives... Just an idea.
... And good luck.
