My guess with absolutely no knowledge on this subject is they'd rather
watch
Baywatch or it is a stoooooopid move by whom-ever-T-F.
I lived with someone who happened to be, uhm, well his parents
from a neighboring country, Nicaragua, and they were all insane.
Hope that was helpful in our pondering and interesting. <He was the
Deadhead
who ate so much stuff on the way in, and stuff, that the Frost
Amphitheatre show
we attended was spent primarily in the Med Tent.
Perhaps it is racist to suggest that it had to do with the Latino
background.
But they put *raisins* in their dressing/stuffing on Thanksgiving!
Mama scared me and Padre was this mellow meek dude who worked where my
dad had.
> But they put *raisins* in their dressing/stuffing on Thanksgiving!
Um...ML...sit down...those were NOT "Raisins"
Dave! <hands on waist elbows out> They really were.
I don't like raisins in food other than cookies. If God had wanted
raisins in Dressing then the Pilgrims and *Indians* would have done
it.
Neeeeeeecarrragua.....I almost married into the family.
Then I stopped my alcohol and part of the other drug abuse and came to
my senses.
His mom gave good Christmas presents. She wasn't cheap, like my
family.
My mother wrapped up a box of Kleenex one Christmas.
That was the Bad Christmas. I might've been given Revolver,
though......
If it's "Baywatch: Hawaii" then I dont have a problem with this.
That show F'ing ROCKED!

WHOOOOOSH
< goes over ML's head>
Andre has put raisins in our turkey stuffing some years. Apples and
walnuts, too. They go pretty good together. Gotta use day-old baguettes
for the bread. I don't even like raisins and I think it's delicious. :)

It didn't go "whoosh", over my head, I got ya.
Yeah, Sherry, I just don't like raisins in food much.
I'm sure Andre's stuffing was yummy.
I'm not that picky usually, but I love good stuffing/dressing
and I like it without the addition of meats or fruits or nuts.
Craisins are an excellent addition to stuffing. Of course, here in
New England we are also partial to things like oysters in stuffing,
and I'm pretty sure the average flatlander would not abide it.
Peace,
Neil X.
My mom would make oyster and plain, she was an Indiana farm-background
cook.
But I avoided the oyster one like the plague. Just a matter of taste.
Oysters should be eaten fresh and raw or, in the hands of a very good
cook, lightly battered and deep fried. Any other means of consumption
is verboten!
JimK
Well, they are indeed very good raw and fried, but there are many
other ways they are excellent, too. You mean to say you don't like
Oysters Rockefeller? It is time for a visit to Antoine's in N'Awlins,
mon ami.
Peace,
Neil X.
More for all you who enjoy them, as I do not plan on
eating an oyster in any way, shape or form.
As someone said here on RMGD, don't remember who,
they "creep me out"!!!!!
Oysters are shellfish, I think? I'm allergic to shellfish. Sometimes
the smell of shellfish makes me feel sick.
I've heard they are supposed to be aphrodesiacs, but they just make me
vomit. Hardly romantic IMO! <g>

I certainly would avoid oysters in Indianna my self...
Mr. Smartypants, Sir, we were in Californ-nigh-ay, ay, eh?
My Grandma always prepared oyster stuffing for Turkey Day, and we were
actually physically in Indiana at the time. Yeah, the oysters were out
of a can and there were always leftovers, but at least some of us
Flatlanders have been there done that.
