I was driving this past weekend when out of nowhere the name Bernardo Marino
popped in to my head and I remembered a show that I had listened to were
after a "We want Phil" chant Phil replies to the extent "Who do you think is
playing the bass up here Bernardo Marino??

I could be wrong as to if that is the correct name, spelling, quote etc;
Anybody out there know what I'm talking about and what show was it?

Thanks in advance,

Staaan

The show would be 7/2/87, Silver Stadium, Rochester, New York. Phil responds
to the crowd's "we want Phil" with "well, who do you think is playing bass,
Bernardo Moreno?" Don't know who Bernardo Moreno is, though.

Matt,

Thanks, Funny I was at that show yet I don't remember that but I did have
the show on tape which is why I remembered that quote. I gotta figure out
who Bernardo Moreno is and why Phil referenced him

I dunno who he is, but check out
http://www.philzone.com/philbase/philbase_pre99.html

It says:

5/21/64? Phil Lesh and Tom Constanten
6-7/8 for Bernardo Marino [20 mins] & more?
composed by Lesh for San Francisco New Music Survey
Mime Troupe Loft (or studio?), San Francisco, CA?
